Excellent service in house sale

I contacted Lanyon Bowdler when we encountered a problem with the sale of my Aunt's house. I spoke with Chloe Thomas who knew straightaway how to resolve the issue and provided a quote. I was impressed with the speed with which they acted and the sale progressed and completed. As Emma's Legal Support Assistant Chloe kept me updated and was always extremely helpful. Very happy with the service we received.

Purchase of property through Modern Method of Auction

I had an excellent experience dealing with Emma and Chloe from Lanyon Bowdler. I purchased a property through modern method of auction as was in need of legal support quickly. Emma took on my case immediately and was brilliant throughout. Her legal assistant Chloe was also excellent, providing constant updates and support throughout the process whilst always responding to my queries immediately. Despite being nervous about buying through MMA due to tight deadlines, Emma was efficient and kept on top of all tasks. Thanks to Emma & Chloe for a great experience.

"Run to the Hills" WORST solicitors I have ever come across. JUST TAKERS...justifying every fee alive. If I could give minus 100 as a rating I would. The Only Solicitors in the country that when you are Selling a house they CHARGE YOU the Buyers transactions Fees. Currently reported to the Legal Councils, 'FSA, & Ombudsum

They were recommended by another solicitor for specialist probate work. They never returned my call, obviously not interested in new business at the moment. It would have been polite to just say they're too busy rather than promise to have a lawyer ring back then not ring.

These people are completely incompetent, my mother died over a year ago and I immediately went to them because her will was with them asking for them to help me sort out what was required, they immediately stated they couldn't help me resolve my issues regarding the probate, etc, making me go to a solicitor local to myself and now over a year later I'm still trying to get them to send the will and house deeds to my new solicitors and they are trying as hard as they can not to do this....!!! My brothers died, my sister is house bound due to a hernia and I am now at my wits end trying to resolve this a year after my mothers death with her care home hounding me for payment of their care fees... All I can say is avoid using these solicitors...!!!!

I’ve used Saffia Keegan twice now once for purchase and once for selling. I can’t believe how fast and efficient she is - I have dealt with other solicitors in the past with no response for weeks which can be really frustrating. Saffia and Heloise are both really quick to respond and just get to the point very quickly. She made the process so easy and everything was done online - no messing about back and forth with papers getting lost. In 2025 this is the way things should be done! Thank you so much Saffia & Lanyon Bowdler team. I will never use anyone else! Highly recommend 😊
