Meg dealt with an urgent matter professionally and in a friendly manner We were kept updated and communication could not have been better

Moving is stressful at best but we had real issues with our sale, one which really jeopardised the entire deal. We looked at costs and really did consider the bucket shop legal deal, but boy am i glad we didn't. Our house boundary was incorrectly registered, and only someone with expert knowledge of land registration and the right people to solve the issue were able to save the day. Eileanora dealt with it and always had a solution not an excuse she was commensurate in her field and made us feel we were in control and in the right hands. In the end we sold the house corrected the boundary's and moved, all because we chose the right legal experts. Can only highly recommend, and would definitely use Eileanora again....10/10 worth every penny, don't skimp on expert advise.

I used Ollie to purchase an old agricultural barn with planning permission to convert to a home. This was a more complex purchase than anticipated due to boundaries, challenges with services, accessways etc but his knowledge and attention to detail was second to none and really took our future needs into consideration. Being new to purchasing land we had no idea what the right questions were to ask, but he anticipated our needs and acted as a real partner to us rather than just offering a service. Whilst we were buying the land outright, we eventually needed to get a self build mortgage and he knew which elements a future lender would need to see and gave us great advice for the longer term too. Ollie kept us informed right the way through and was very proactive, would highly recommend him (and Ashtons Legal) to anyone else going through a similar situation.

With Martin Tolhurst I have undertaken an re-mortgage and lease extension together, and the teams have been fantastic with their services. The lease extension is a long process and Surinder and the team kept me up to date and answered any questions I had with the process. Connor and the mortgage team kept me update with my re-mortgage process and when my funds were received and processed. It has been a long and stressful process, but the team at Martin Tolhurst provided the most professional service and kept me updated and were approachable at all time. I will be using again.

Helen, my solicitor, considered my case very carefully, and then offered me possible choices that could save time and cost. She always planned ahead that the things could happen and let me have sufficient time to prepare. My case is a little complex as it was involved with both UK financial setlement and overseas jurisdictions. She planned me to begin with simple matter -- get back land register (least cost), then pointed out, in case of need, receiving counsel advice and seeking barrister (more expensive). This was proved the most efficient as to process my case.

I moved house earlier this year and decided to go with Herringtons on a recommendation.. They were thorough kind and reasonably priced. My solicitor Yuan Ling Chen was brilliant and talked me through anything I didn't understand. She went above and beyond. I would go with Herringtons again.

We have been trying to buy the land next to our house from the garden for a few years. Mohammed was really good and dealing with the council and pointed out things we would never have thought of. We ended up with a better deal on the conditions and restricions the council tried to put on the land. We are now really happy and hopefully be able to build the extension we wanted and enjoy our bigger garden. Thank you Mohammed

As first time buyers, the house buying process felt overwhelming, but working with Georgia made us feel like we were in completely safe hands. Georgia was efficient right from the start, sending all paperwork promptly and staying way ahead of our completion timeline, which took so much pressure off us. When a sale in the chain unexpectedly fell through just a week before completion, the empathy, care, and support we received was incredible. Georgia helped us navigate a stressful situation with incredible patience and professionalism. Once the sale was back on track, she went above and beyond to put extra safety nets in place to protect our mortgage offer and give us peace of mind. No question was ever too small or silly, and Georgia’s communication kept my anxiety at bay throughout. I couldn't have asked for a better solicitor. Highly, highly recommend!
