I cannot thank Sleeblackwell Solicitors, and in particular James McNally and his team, enough for the exceptional support, dedication and professionalism they have shown to my mum and our family over the past six years. In 2020, my mum was attacked by a resident’s dog and suffered devastating injuries. The attack occurred as a result of the owner’s negligence in failing to properly secure the dog on his premises. Sadly, after two other law firms declined to take on the case, largely because the defendant claimed not to have pet or home insurance, we were left feeling that my mum might never receive justice. That was when I contacted Sleeblackwell Solicitors and spoke with James McNally. From our very first conversation, James listened attentively to everything I had to say. He was completely honest about how difficult the case would be, particularly given the defendant’s claimed lack of financial means to pay compensation, but despite the challenges, he was willing to take the case on and fight for my mum. What followed was six years of litigation, persistence and determination. Yesterday, we finally reached the outcome we had been hoping and fighting for, and my mum was awarded compensation for the injuries and suffering she endured. Throughout those six years, James and his entire team were nothing short of exceptional. I live in the UAE, James and his firm are based in the South of England, and my mum lives in the North of England, so managing the case involved countless emails, Zoom calls and long-distance telephone conversations. I was advocating for my mum throughout the entire process, and James and his team were incredibly supportive, patient and understanding every step of the way. They took the time to listen to every detail and every piece of information I provided, even over such a long and challenging period. We never felt that our case was simply another file on a desk. Their commitment, compassion and determination gave us the confidence to keep going, even when the process felt overwhelming. James, and everyone at Sleeblackwell Solicitors, played an enormous part in helping our family finally achieve justice for my mum. We will always be incredibly grateful for everything they have done.
