    A most pleasant experience, selling and buying property can be stressful, but not on this occasion. Thank you to Sara Smith for the seamless, professional, friendly and efficient handling of our sale. Visiting the Maidstone office was also a good experience.     There more to conveyancing than conveyancing

    I had used the firm for a property transaction some years ago and it was done extremely well. on this occasion it was more difficult. There was little engagement, it proved very difficult to obtain information about progress and I had to insist on contacting a partner on two occasions. The legal work was ok but at a stressful time it proved extremely difficult to understand at each stage how the process was going. it is reflective of the transaction that my letter to the partner raising this point and thanking her for the work was not acknowledged. I also note that others have commented on the same point

      My experience of solicitors engaged to support the many house moves over the years has been, at it's best, adequate. None have ever gone over & above, it has always seemed like they are going through the motions & actually didn't care that much whether the sales were completed or not. That is until my father-in-law engaged Brachers & we were assigned Tim Lancaster. Why any different? Well Tim seemed to care; always quickly responsive to queries/concerns answering in plain English to make things easily understandable for us. He wasn't just a name at the end of an email but someone we met & conversed with. He was kind, thoughtful - human! - & we cannot thank him enough for enabling such a smooth process.
