Having to re enter the property buying market after divorce was pretty daunting. Needed a solicitor for both the divorce process plus conveyancing. Selected HPJV because I liked their website information and reviews. I have been delighted with their services in both facets.

I had the help of Lois Jones at hpjv while buying my first home. Lois was so helpful and patient with me when I asked naive first time buyer questions. Lois’ attention to detail was invaluable when identifying missed information from the vendor and resolving potentially difficult situations. I don’t think I could have seen the process through with anyone less patient and professional
HPJV were simply excellent in assisting a vulnerable adult navigate the police processes and investigation. As well as Colin Smith, Cameron Shaw, a young trainee lawyer went out of his way to respond in a professional and timely manner to answer all our questions. What an asset to HPJV he is! Lois Jones was my solicitor and I can honestly say she was faultless. She ensured that the home I was buying was not going to have any legal issues in the future (issues with building regs), she was there when I backed out (due to an unexpected HMO arrival) and was there again a few days later when I found that that was no longer an issue, and as a first time buyer she was constantly reassuring and guiding. I had no idea what to do in this entire process, but as a whole they have been so considerate and knowledgable, simply faultless. I also highly rate their app for keeping me in the know at all times. I would recommend them to anybody and would use them again without hesitation. I cannot thank Lois or her team enough!

I needed will and I contacted hpjv solicitors through the national free wills network. I found everything explained to me very smoothly and clearly.
Jayne Chandler, Anna Sharwood, Kylie on reception and the rest of the team have been incredible over these last 3yrs. Not only from a legal perspective, but also in their compassion, support and care of me. Helping me negotiate my way through managing the legal process and all the stress that brings. As well as managing the ongoing challenges of PTSD and FND caused by the domestic violence i was escaping and the impact that has on my ability to keep up with everything. Jayne appointed a fantastic Barrister, Mr Stephen Taylor who not only did his job with professionalism and pose in court on my behalf. He too also worked with me from a place of compassion and was so supportive throughout. I felt i was in the safest of hands with them all, at a time when i needed it the most.
