Shannon was excellent throughout the sale of my mum’s house. With slow buyers and delays involving mortgage advisers and solicitors, she kept chasing and pushing things forward. If you get assigned to Nicola, I strongly suggest asking to be assigned to someone else. Reasonable and clearly documented timescales were seriously exceeded, without valid cause or explanation, which lead me to suffer financial detriment. Poor communication, refusal to give time estimates, and ignored queries left me in the dark for the majority of the process, which was very stressful. Once my case eventually completed, I wrote a complaint documenting the numerous instances that Nicola had breached the timelines promised, Taylor Rose's own Client Care Code, as well as the Solicitors Regulation Authority's Code of Conduct. Her breaches of code were so evidently egregious that Taylor Rose chose to refund me approx 25% of my total legal bill as compensation for the poor service received and financial harm. I'm glad they did, but I would rather have just had the service I was promised be done without the pain and effort of chasing her, then working through a complaints process. Giving this 2 stars because at least the work got done eventually, after a struggle, and the complaints process dealt with my case fairly.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Joby Joseph for his outstanding support and guidance throughout my ILR journey. Excellent service from Naveed Kayani at Taylor Rose! Naveed handled both the sale of our previous home and the purchase of our new property. Despite some last-minute complications with our mortgage, he managed to get everything completed smoothly and on time. Re purchase of property Quoted a different price to actually being charged. Difference being circa £500. It is alright if they were to resolve it immediately but complaints take 28 days to respond to max. It is a matter of price discrepancy but are unable to simply review it and get back to us. Awful slow response time. Really regret onboarding with Taylor Rose. Furthermore, when I inform Taylor Rose that I intend to uninstruct, they come back with charges being deducting nearing £300 from my deposit. This is despite no searches being paid for from their end. My assigned solicitor wad Lisa and individual dealing with my complaint is Nicole. If your transaction is time sensitive then please do not use Taylor Rose.

We didn’t have a very positive experience overall. Our case handler was very slow to respond and didn’t explain things properly when we had queries. Her responses would be brief, one line messages. I even called a couple of times when I wasn’t getting responses on the portal and was always told she was busy. Probably wouldn’t use again.
