We instructed Georgina Byrant of Barcan and Kirby in Bristol although we are based within M25 corridor. She came highly recommended and how rightly so. The transaction was quite complex as we were selling our company established almost 30 years ago. Georgina handled the sale with considerable care, diligence and speed. She ironed out all the potential difficulties and often only involved us after she had found solutions although she kept us fully appraised throughout the transaction. She his extremely capable and for got along with everyone and used common sense and the phone to achieve a timely sale on excellent terms. Her entire office and team were a delight to deal with and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her.....I only wish I had her as my solicitor 30 years ago!

I recently used Emma Cox as my solicitor for a property purchase, and I was very impressed with the level of service provided throughout the process. The Solicitor we used had good experience and understanding of the aera of law we were focusing on - trust. she advised us well, but the length of time we had to wait was too long, and i had to chase on numerous occasions.

Had conveyancing practice deal with the purchase of a new home for me 4 years ago, & I’m still being told by lenders that part of the property doesn’t belong to me!!

During your recent phone conversation with her, you confirmed you are uncertain about which of part the property is not owned. We are very happy with the service Barcan and Kirby provided. We were selling a flat that we have owned for a number of years and knew it would take some time due to having to navigate the changes in ground rent. As part of the sale we needed negotiate a deed of variation with the land lord. Sally expertise and guidance in the area were critical in getting us to the finish line. I can not speak highly enough of the service she provided to us and the effort in navigating some challenging stakeholders. Including the buyers solicitor who had to practically be coached through the entire process. A massive thank you from Gemma and I for helping us get our flat sold.
