I decided to sell one of my buy to let properties earlier this year and used the services of Delicia and her team. The level of service I received from all involved was outstanding. Friendly, professional, and operated at ten times the speed of the purchasers solicitor. Delicia would turn around enquiries within 48hours, where as the purchasers solicitor would take 2 weeks to do the same in response. Delicia has recently acted for us on the sale of our property and the purchase of a new build property. In summary, she has been all we wanted in a conveyancer - clear on all aspects throughout, available and happy to speak on the phone when required, professional communication and she clearly has high quality and deep knowledge of all relevant aspects in residential property services. After previous disappointment with conveyancing services on past home moves, I vowed I would only engage a "known" firm going forward, and I can absolutely state this was the right decision. Expensive conveyancing and very little communication and follow up. Everything was ok in the end but had to chase up on multiple occasions to maintain progress on the property sale. Would not recommend this firm as you pay a premium price for a basic level of service.

Straight forward conveyancing for house purchase but... Kept to the quote and kept the communication flowing. Had to chase a little as we got close to completion but purchase from offer to completion only took 7.5 weeks.

Although it was recommended by the developer and initially gave the impression of a ‘no sale, no fee’ arrangement, this was not the case. I was charged a substantial fee despite no successful purchase being completed.

I have been working with Paris Smith for around 4 years and each member of their team has provided excellent support through their legal knowledge and understanding of how the law works in practice. Their customer service has also been excellent.

Same experience as S.E.S! They have been "administering" my late mother's estate for 6 years. She was 98, and her Will was written by them as a Trust, with themselves as Sole Trustees. So, on top of the £16K that they paid themselves for probate, they are into us for another £40K, as of 2025. It is a small cottage which has been the home for many years of the excellent lady who cared for my mother. She pays £5000 pa rent, not that we have ever seen it, and for administering it they have charged an average of £8000 pa over this period - a task we would have performed for nothing! We have no idea how much we currently owe, or why - they don't explain. 14 lawyers have been involved, most of whom we have never heard of. But they've told us clearly they're not going to step down as Trustees until we pay their bill, so they're threatening us as well. They even threatened to sell it, which would have put our tenant out onto the street in the middle of winter. Their behaviour may be legal; but it has been unpleasant - my mother intended it for the benefit of her grandchildren, one of whom has Downs Syndrome. No doubt, as with S.E.S, Paris Smith would also class these as mere "concerns"!
