Once you get used to the remote working, I found things went well. The financial settlement and the actual divorce application were handled by different teams but the communication was excellent, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The process cost more than I'd hoped but that was down to the other party.

OVER enthusiastic CHARGES

Hi Used Reading office of Stowe Family Law was charged £26000 after estimates of circa £12k The only thing they are efficient at is billing. Do Not use this firm based on the experiences we had they were shocking. We continually had to drive the process reminding them of key dates to get paper work to courts. Staff left and we were given a junior who was then promoter after key staff member left.
They wound not admit their failings and we had to change firms based on performance and billing.

Feel so lucky to have come across Stowe Family Law. They acted so professionally during my lengthy and very difficult divorce. I had a team of experts on hand to help me over the hurdles including court orders for non-compliance and specific incidents, and sourcing of valuators for overseas property. They were considerate of expenses by delegating to junior members of the team when appropriate, avoiding unnecessary meetings, and keeping phone calls to the point with options readily available for decisions.
A special team that stuck to their values as stated in the telephone answering message. Special thanks to Rebecca.

Very expensive and unclear billing process. Very (inexplicably) expensive for a simple review of a legal document set up by another solicitor (ie setting the document up by an experienced other solicitor from another company for my husband was 1/3 of the cost of crisp&co’s review process).
