Absolutely cannot fault the service we’ve received from Lisa Wills at Flint Bishop. We’d unfortunately been left with an outstanding issue following a house purchase, when our original solicitor closed without notice, so had to instruct a new solicitor to deal with this. Lisa was helpful, informative and the communication was excellent, leaving us feeling very confident that she would get things done and as quickly as possible. Would highly recommend and would happily use again in the future.

Our original buyer used this solicitors and mine got really quite frustrated with their lack of promptness in replying to emails and queries. I tried once to request directly very politely that they please reply to my solicitor with an update (as they'd been ignoring her for several days) and the Flint Bisbop person was extremely rude in response. The tone they used was totally unnecessary, unprofessional and the person at Flint Bishop could have chosen to be polite, even if their reply would have been the same. I wasn't trying to create a problem, but was anxiously awaiting a reply. After that incident, Flint Bishop seemed to delay everything from moving along for quite a while which caused significant anxiety. The sale eventually fell apart. For this reason I think it's important to let people know that it's worth choosing a different firm to move house with as I wouldn't recommend this firm, due to lack of contact to mine.

Flint Bishop contacted our company regarding an alleged debt supposedly associated with a company with which we have never had any contractual relationship or account. From the outset, we have explained that we do not recognise the debt and have requested documentation demonstrating the alleged contract, the relationship with our company, and the basis and origin of the amount being claimed. What is particularly concerning is that the name of the company stated in their claim does not even match the name of our company. Despite our repeated requests for evidence and clarification, rather than providing documentation demonstrating that the debt genuinely relates to our company, the response we have received has essentially been that legal proceedings may be initiated if we do not make payment. We consider it entirely reasonable that, before threatening legal action against a company, it should first be established that the claim is being made against the correct legal entity and that there is appropriate documentation to substantiate the alleged debt. We hope Flint Bishop will review this matter and provide the evidence we have requested, or cease pursuing a debt that we do not recognise. Our experience so far has been very negative, particularly given the lack of supporting documentation and the fact that the details of the company named in the claim do not even correspond with those of our company. It's also very curious that I've read many reviews with this same problem.

I have never come across a company where the level of incompetence is quite so remarkable. The service has been extremely disappointing, with poor communication, a lack of professionalism, and very little sense of accountability. Overall, a deeply frustrating experience that I would not recommend to anyone.
