We were very happy with the work done for us in transferring land to our children. Despite being pensioners and not good with technology, it was made easier for us in that paper documentation could be used when necessary. Jo Counter was understanding and helpful with all aspects of the transfer and kept us fully informed at each stage of the transfer.

HIGHLY recommend Coodes, Ann-Marie and her PA Caroline have been amazing. From the very beginning of our transaction right through to the end, they have both been absolutely fantastic and we genuinely could not be more grateful for everything they have done for us. You often hear so many negative stories about people’s experiences with solicitors, particularly when buying and selling a property, but that has absolutely not been our experience with Coodes. From our very first contact with Ann-Marie and Caroline, we felt completely supported, listened to and reassured. They have both been incredibly helpful, professional, approachable, responsive and understanding throughout the entire process. Our transaction has certainly not been the most straightforward and there have been a number of challenges, complications and unexpected issues along the way. Despite this, Ann-Marie and Caroline have dealt with everything with an incredible amount of patience, professionalism and determination. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble and whenever something came up, they were always there to explain what was happening, answer our questions and help us understand exactly what needed to happen next. Ann-Marie has been absolutely brilliant throughout. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional, but at the same time incredibly personable and reassuring. We always felt that we were in safe hands and that our situation was being dealt with properly. She went above and beyond to help us navigate all of the complications that arose and we have genuinely appreciated the amount of time, effort and care she has put into our transaction. Caroline has also been an absolute star. Her communication, organisation and responsiveness have been fantastic and we cannot thank her enough for all of the support she has given us. There have been countless emails, phone calls, updates, questions and things to chase along the way and Caroline has always been so helpful and quick to respond. Having someone so organised and approachable there to help has made a huge difference to us. One of the biggest things we have appreciated about both of them is that we never felt like we were simply another file or another transaction. We always felt that they genuinely cared about helping us get everything over the line. Even when things became complicated or stressful, they remained calm, professional and incredibly supportive. Property transactions can be stressful at the best of times, and ours certainly had its moments! Having Ann-Marie and Caroline working so hard behind the scenes made what could have been an incredibly overwhelming process much easier to navigate. Knowing that we could contact them, ask questions and get a clear and helpful response gave us so much reassurance throughout. Thank you for all of the emails, phone calls, updates, explanations, chasing, problem-solving and everything else you have done behind the scenes. We know that there is an enormous amount of work involved in getting a transaction like this completed, and we really do appreciate the commitment you have both shown from start to finish.
