I had been involved in a lengthy family court matter ,that started in 2021 and ended 2026 . Duncan lewis have represented me from the start in this time i have been represented by 3 solictors and one i believe case worker who was very difficult and showed little interest in helping. The three solictors were absolutely amazing ending with safia khan who was understanding and patient. I am today in care of my daughter after a long 6 years and honestly i couldn’t of done it without the solictors at Duncan lewis If there is any dads out there struggling like i was then Duncan are a very good bet .

I cannot thank Lillie Stubbs enough for everything she did for me and my children during one of the most difficult periods of my life. My children had been placed in foster care after I experienced a serious mental health crisis. I was going through an extremely difficult time and felt completely overwhelmed, frightened and uncertain about what was going to happen to my family. From the beginning, Lillie treated me with compassion, patience and respect. She listened to me, took my concerns seriously and always made me feel that she genuinely cared about helping me and my children. She explained the legal process clearly and made sure I understood what was happening at every stage. Her communication was excellent. She kept me updated, responded to my questions and was there when I needed reassurance or clarification. I never felt like I was just another case number. Lillie was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and determined. She fought for my children and made sure my voice as their mother was heard. Her support and legal representation made such a huge difference during a time when I felt completely lost. Most importantly, Lillie is the reason I was able to get my children back. I was in family court for over a year, with Sophie Jensen as my appointed solicitor, she helped me and my son get the best and what was asked for from the courts. Gave great advice throughout the whole year not just when court was happening. Lovely friendly person, really helped with the stress levels of being a single mum going through court. An incredible firm, I cannot recommend Duncan Lewis enough, in particular my solicitor Oluwatobi Akinwande went above and beyond for me, from the beginning she supported me through an incredibly difficult and also emotional time and had the patience to listen to me and my feelings, guiding me through everything and advising me on any problem we faced. Excellent support with my housing issues. I cannot recommend my solicitor highly enough. She has been incredibly helpful and supportive in dealing with the ongoing problems with my housing and making sure the council takes action to put things right. She has listened to my concerns, taken them seriously and worked hard to ensure the necessary repairs and work are carried out. Having someone in my corner who is willing to challenge things and make sure I am treated fairly has made such a difference. Housing problems can be incredibly stressful, particularly when you feel like you are constantly having to fight to get things sorted. I am so grateful for her help, dedication and understanding. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone needing a solicitor who genuinely cares about their clients.

Ojashwi Sidharth, a reputable and experienced attorney at DUNCAN LEWIS SOLICITORS, handled my immigration case expertly. He was always willing to help, the communication was excellent, and he made me feel truly appreciated. His legal expertise and professionalism are admirable.
I telephoned on 12/10/2026 after being given their telephone number by Shelter. I spoke with a rude gentleman who couldn’t even pronounce my name correctly, lots of background noise, didn’t speak very good English and was very abrupt. Told him it was time limited and needed to speak with a solicitor about a possible judicial review. Gave my details and was told I would get a call back in 24/48 hours. Didn’t hear anything so rang again on 15/10/2026 and spoke with the same rude gentleman. Was told I would get a call back and that I didn’t understand, it was 24/48 working hours which is roughly 4/5 working days, not 24/48 hours! I again said it was urgent but this was dismissed and said I would get a call back. Didn’t hear anything again so I called today, 21/10/2026. A woman answered it this time same rude abrupt telephone manner with lots of background noise so you could barely hear anything, not very good English and could not pronounce my name. I explained that I’d called on 12/10/2026 but hadn’t heard anything and it was urgent that I spoke with a solicitor please. She replied by telling me that they had no availability now. No apology no nothing end of conversation. Absolutely rude! I said thank you for wasting my time and put the phone down. I would not use these solicitors at all total rude!!
I am very grateful to my caseworker, Sai Subbaraj Maganti, for the way he handled my SLM claim. His communication was excellent. He responded to my emails straight away, was easy to reach by phone and always kept me updated. He completed everything on time and submitted all my documents to the Home Office, including the changes we made during our meeting. He also sent me copies for my own records. Sai was professional, patient and understanding, and his support gave me confidence and peace of mind. I felt truly looked after throughout the whole process.
