Careless slapdash law firm with no ethics or client care process
I drew on Natalie Nero at Stowe for legal advice on an ad hoc basis, which worked well on my divorce. I then "upgraded" to the full service and found their focus completely shifted from strategy to mechanically filling in forms that constantly needed to be rewritten and corrected. They kept asking for more funds on account despite no invoices and then at the last minute did not represent me at my FDA hearing with hours to go unless I topped up the account with an (uninvoiced) £5000 further payment on my account. Keep away!

Excellent divorce solicitor
I cannot recommend Chloe Flynn highly enough. Going through a divorce is never easy, but Chloe made what could have been an incredibly stressful and difficult experience so much more manageable. From the very beginning, Chloe was professional, understanding, compassionate and extremely supportive. Patient, professional, and a pleasure to work with
Selecting and using a family solicitor is a difficult, costly, and can be an emotionally challenging process. I spoke to Stowe initially between Christmas ’25 and New Years at short notice. From the first conversation onwards, I was very comfortable with my decision to use Stowe and pursue a C100 application, to achieve a ‘Lives with Both’ order. I ended up working extensively with Beth Courtney-Walker (Senior Associate) and have nothing but praise and thanks to her. We laid out and agreed a strategy, the discussed what we expected to happen (and what that might cost) before our C100 submission in March. When I grew impatient or got riled up responses from the Respondent; Beth patiently allowed me to vent and coached me back to our considered plan. Ultimately, this helped me cope with the process better. And most importantly led directly to the outcome we set out to achieve from the outset. A child focussed ‘Lives with Both’ order, which protects my daughters Court Ordered minimum time together. Whilst I only started with Stowe 10months ago, this is the most secure position I have been in as a parent since October 2020…. 6 years ago. THANK YOU BETH,

Aimee Mckay represents me in a very acrimonious divorce case/family court matters. Just got my boys back for me after 7 long months, her and Abigail Rowley my barrister rolled out the guns and got the win last week. Truly heartbreaking over the last year, they've supported me in and outside the case, and puts up with me tormenting her remarkably well!! She's a genuine, sweet kind young lady, but does have a bite! I would never go anywhere else, not that I intend to get married again, when all this is over, I'll never forget what she's done for me. What can I say that sums up the support I have had from Beth (Courtney- Walker) over the four years I have sought parental co-parenting for my little boy? Nothing. Nothing can put into words the legal guidance, professionalism, passion for her chosen career and ability to be human, and considerate of the emotions involved and insightful of the mind of others. Put simply, I have the equal care of my child because of her. As I sit and type this I have a tear in my eye (she's knows I can get all emotional!) but she also knows, I hope that my future as a father is as much down to her as it has been to me. Truly heartbreaking over the last year, they've supported me in and outside the case, and puts up with me tormenting her remarkably well!! She's a genuine, sweet kind young lady, but does have a bite! I would never go anywhere else, not that I intend to get married again, when all this is over, I'll never forget what she's done for me. She will go all the way to the top, if Karma exists!!

What can I say that sums up the support I have had from Beth (Courtney- Walker) over the four years I have sought parental co-parenting for my little boy? Nothing. Nothing can put into words the legal guidance, professionalism, passion for her chosen career and ability to be human, and considerate of the emotions involved and insightful of the mind of others. Put simply, I have the equal care of my child because of her. As I sit and type this I have a tear in my eye (she's knows I can get all emotional!) but she also knows, I hope that my future as a father is as much down to her as it has been to me. Thank you can never convey my gratitude. But I hope she continues to practice for many years and keeps up the truly incredible job she did for me on behalf of others. You've been my angel.
