Awful Service

I telephoned on 12/10/2026 after being given their telephone number by Shelter. I spoke with a rude gentleman who couldn’t even pronounce my name correctly, lots of background noise, didn’t speak very good English and was very abrupt. Told him it was time limited and needed to speak with a solicitor about a possible judicial review. Gave my details and was told I would get a call back in 24/48 hours. Didn’t hear anything so rang again on 15/10/2026 and spoke with the same rude gentleman. Was told I would get a call back and that I didn’t understand, it was 24/48 working hours which is roughly 4/5 working days, not 24/48 hours! I again said it was urgent but this was dismissed and said I would get a call back. Didn’t hear anything again so I called today, 21/10/2026. A woman answered it this time same rude abrupt telephone manner with lots of background noise so you could barely hear anything, not very good English and could not pronounce my name. I explained that I’d called on 12/10/2026 but hadn’t heard anything and it was urgent that I spoke with a solicitor please. She replied by telling me that they had no availability now. No apology no nothing end of conversation. Absolutely rude! I said thank you for wasting my time and put the phone down. I would not use these solicitors at all total rude!!

He responded to my emails straight away, was easy to reach by phone and always kept me updated. He completed everything on time and submitted all my documents to the Home Office, including the changes we made during our meeting. He also sent me copies for my own records. Sai was professional, patient and understanding, and his support gave me confidence and peace of mind. I felt truly looked after throughout the whole process. Had a terrible experience and I'm not one to quickly write negative reviews. My only correspondence with Harriet Philips was by email and after being recommended through positive word of mouth by a duty solicitor, I thought I would give it try. My query was neglected after two months waiting for a legal aid application only to be told weeks before my hearing that I had to send all information again. Furthermore, information was being requested unnecessarily from my bank to specify certain dates. As my bank only allows statements up to a certain date, I could not provide the requested information. If the solicitor told me sooner, I would have had more time to resolve. Now I'm left without representation. I understand others may have had a good experience due to the number rewards, but this definitely does not include my case.
