As an independent advocate I have supported many parents going through pre-proceedings with their children under a child protection plan. All the solicitors at Battens have been responsive to parents and to me as the parent's advocate. But I would commend Georgina Bacon in particular for her professional compassion, clear advice and her excellent easier to read summaries after meetings or court hearings. And also thinking to include photos of barristers to help us all find that person on an already stressful occasion. I have learned a lot!

We recently used Battens Solicitors in the selling of one house and the buying of another. There was an extremely tight deadline and they worked tirelessly to get the sale through on time. Communication was great - consistent, professional and friendly. The handwritten Christmas cards from the teams were a really lovely touch.
