MSB handled my FTB house purchase and my case was managed by Pamela Chan-Ashraf. The process took around 4 months which was no reflection on Pamela or MSB; various things cropped up on the seller's side that demanded a couple of extra steps. Pamela was pleasant and professional, as were her colleagues Jennifer Cunningham and Helen Backstrom. I have dropped one star from my review as a consequence of Clare Matson, Pamela's third legal assistant, who worked closely albeit not particularly professionally with my purchase. Clare was terse over e-mail, refusing to address me by even my first name in any correspondence, communicating in a way that was unhelpful, short, and cold. Working in corporate myself, this is a truly bizarre style of communication, particularly with clients. Furthermore, Clare was remarkably unclear on several occassions. In one instance in particular, Clare refused to clarify a particular request from the outset, resulting in me having to trawl through numerous documents and emails before 9 AM on a working day. When I fulfilled her poorly outlined request (within the same hour after having to send clarifying questions back and forth), she did not even acknowledge the document that I had sent across. This was hugely unprofessional. Pamela took responsibility for the remainder of the case, for which I was grateful. It is especially interesting that a solicitor can dignify a client with a proper greeting in an e-mail, but a legal assistant cannot.

This solicitor has been representing the seller of a property I am purchasing, and I have been shocked at their incompetence. They've caused serious delays in our process, originating from giving the vendor incorrect advice at the beginning of the process. Even simple things like including a correct list of attachments to emails which they have listed they can't do. Abismal.

Msb was conveyancing my property, We just dropped the case as there was no contact with anyone, they were delaying exchange of contract , when called in last week they asked when would you like to exchange as everything is ready 2 weeks later no sign of any decision Except this, the case had around 10peiple involved, and we didn’t know who is who and whines actually dealing with it General opinion Slow, no communication and if there any is very generic, Not recommended to anyone who actually wanna get the deal quick and efficient EKG properties Ltd

Highly recommend Pamela and the team, Amba, Clare and Lisa. They helped me with my first hiuse purchase, kept me informed with what was going on and helped chase the sellers and their less than helpful solicitors. Pam and the team are great representatives for MSB. Thanks very much.

If I could put zero stars, I would. My partner’s buyer is using this firm as their solicitor, and the experience has been extremely frustrating. Communication is virtually non-existent — they don’t respond to emails or phone calls, and even the estate agent struggles to get any updates. When you call, you’re placed on hold or told someone will call back, but that never happens. Buying or selling a home is stressful enough without this level of unresponsiveness. I’d strongly recommend avoiding this firm and spending a little extra for a high street solicitor who actually communicates and keeps clients informed.

We instructed MSB Solicitors for a sale and purchase. Unfortunately, communication has been extremely poor. Emails and phone calls often went unanswered for days or weeks, and we had to repeatedly chase for basic updates. We also had to coordinate between estate agents, the management company, and other solicitors ourselves just to keep the process moving. Buying and selling a home is stressful enough — clear communication and timely updates should be standard. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend MSB. There are firms who are far more proactive and responsive.
