I cannot recommend David Sykes, Rachael Johnson and the team at Bell Lamb & Joynson highly enough. Going through a divorce after such a long marriage was never going to be easy, but from beginning to end I genuinely felt looked after and valued. The whole process took almost 19 months, and throughout that time David and Rachael were incredibly accessible. Whenever I had a question or was unsure about something, they were always very quick to answer the phone or get back to me. I never felt like I was left wondering what was happening or constantly having to chase for answers. What really stood out to me was how clear and logical everything felt. Each stage was explained in a way that made sense, I understood what the next step was and why we were taking it, and I never had that frustrating feeling of going round in circles. During what could have been an incredibly stressful process, that made such a difference. There were some difficult and stressful moments along the way, particularly towards the end, but I always felt that I was in safe hands and that my best interests were being looked after. After almost 19 months, finally reaching the end of my divorce and being able to close this chapter of my life was a huge moment. I am incredibly grateful to David and Rachael for their professionalism, patience, kindness and support throughout the entire process. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bell Lamb & Joynson to anyone needing support through a divorce or family law matter. Thank you both for helping me finally close this chapter and move forward. ❤️

I found Bell Lamb & Joynson solicitors to be a really great firm of Solicitors to use from start to finish, doing everything they could to help and make sure it all ran smoothly from Andy Burke in the beginning to Claire Manning at the end ,replying to any questions I had ,no matter how silly they where ,with in that day. Sam and Ellie were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They were easily accessible on the phone and would always return calls if they were not immediately available. They worked hard to complete on our preferred date, despite a number of obstacles caused by other conveyancing firms in the chain. I would highly recommend BL&J and would not hesitate to use them again the future. Precessional, friendly and prompt service throughout. The APP was very user friendly and a really easy way to communicate with the team. Throughout the extremely difficult months while my case progressed through the courts, I received excellent professional advice, in particular with a candid and honest assessment of the likely outcome. The advocacy and defense given by Jim Smith at my sentencing was exemplary and contributed significantly, in my opinion, to my receiving a much more lenient sentence than I was expecting. In fact I firmly believe that the presentation of mitigation contributed a great deal to persuading the Judge to offer clemency to me, and give me another chance.
