I was working with Mozes Salvatore and Bahar Ata in this case. They were asked if they could liaise with a police force on my behalf regarding a questionable police investigation that resulted in No Further Action taken. Mozes said he was going to charge £6,000 for this work which was simply ridiculous. I then made representations and sent a form that Mozes requested but Bahar and Mozes both ignored my e-mails so I will be rating them a 1 star but would rate zero if I could.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the level of service I encountered while attempting to reach Duncan Lewis Law firm for assistance with a new legal matter. On five separate occasions today, I attempted to contact their office, and each time I encountered significant delays and, unfortunately, dropped calls. Below is a summary of my attempts: 1. Call 1: After a 15-minute hold, my call was disconnected. 2. Call 2: After a 10-minute wait, my call was again dropped. 3. Call 3: Someone answered, but the call was abruptly terminated. 4. Call 4: After waiting for another 15 minutes, the call was disconnected once more. 5. Call 5: I spoke with a representative who appeared to be located at an overseas call centre. I explained my prior experiences and began to provide my first name, but after being placed on hold for over 10 minutes, I chose to hang up. It is truly inconceivable that a law firm of this stature lacks robust measures to monitor the effectiveness of its customer service representatives. First impressions matter greatly in the legal field, and my experiences have regrettably led me to seek representation from another firm. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and prompts an evaluation of your call handling processes to improve future client experiences.

regret to write this review regarding the unsatisfactory experience I had with Duncan&Lewis firm concerning my case. Unfortunately, the level of diligence and attention to detail was severely lacking, which resulted in a significant sense of confusion of the case and frustration on my part. After some more experience with another firm, I can confidently say, that from the beginning, it was apparent that there was little understanding of my needs. The careless approach to managing the complexities of my case and the absence of a solid strategy demonstrated a lack of commitment to achieving a favorable outcome. The issues and confusion that arose from neglectful handling have left me feeling unsupported and disheartened. Additionally, I was not informed about any alternatives in a timely manner. On two occasions, I found myself disheartened the day/ evening before a hearing, with last-minute comments that I should drop the case, instead of well-planned advice. Had I been informed earlier and worked on the best possible strategy and plan, they could have saved me a lot of time, stress, and money. My complex case was assigned to a junior solicitor, and according to our contract, a senior solicitor was supposed to supervise and regularly review all work, especially our finished statements. Unfortunately, this did not happen. The statements were written in a very rushed and confusing manner, making it difficult for the judge to quickly grasp the main information and evidence. Despite my concerns regarding the amount of evidence we were submitting, the team insisted on this approach, which ultimately led to extra hearings and unnecessary delays. The firm was very expensive, yet the high fees did not mirror the attention my case required or the support I deserved. Each extra hearing, costing me approximately £5,000 to £7,000, only added to the overall confusion and complexity of the case, instead of simplifying it and focusing on the most important issues. Communication was often unclear, inaccurate, lacking in main points, making it difficult for me to grasp essential information about various stages. The responsiveness to my inquiries was inadequate, which compounded my anxiety and made it challenging to navigate a situation that was already complicated. We went through three hearings, at least one, possibly two of which could have been avoided had I been informed of the realistic outcome well in advance and offered more constructive alternatives. My lack of confidence in the team’s expertise has only continued to grow, and I did not feel that I received the best possible assistance. I submitted a complaint to the principal office about six weeks ago and have yet to receive any response. I am truly disappointed by the overall experience with this firm.

No response to initial enquiry or follow-up email – disappointing service for urgent tribunal matter I contacted Duncan Lewis Solicitors on 1 April 2026 requesting urgent solicitor representation for an ongoing Employment Tribunal claim with a linked social housing dispute. I clearly explained that I am currently out of work, have already submitted an ET1 and received the ET3 response, and urgently need experienced legal counsel to prepare for the initial hearing. I have substantial evidence and asked to explore Legal Aid eligibility or suitable funding options. I received an automated reply the same day confirming my details had been forwarded to the relevant team. It provided Client Referral ID Number 285621087 and stated that someone would contact me “at their earliest opportunity during office hours”. I sent a polite follow-up email asking for an update, but have received no response to either my original enquiry or the follow-up. It is now 9 April 2026 — over a full week later — and I have had zero contact whatsoever: no phone call, no email, and no acknowledgement. This complete lack of follow-up from a firm that advertises itself as a top-tier Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked practice is very disappointing. When someone facing active tribunal proceedings, significant stress, and an urgent need for professional representation reaches out, basic communication and timely response should be the minimum standard. The silence has left me feeling ignored and more overwhelmed at a time when I most need reliable legal support to move my case forward and seek justice. I don't know if the firm is going through a difficult period, but this is how I have been treated so far.
