I highly recommend Eaton Smith for family court matters. Throughout my case, the solicitors maintained regular contact with me and kept me fully informed at every stage of the process. They clearly explained what would happen next, which helped ease a very stressful situation. Lindsay was especially supportive and professional throughout. Due to the domestic violence-related issues involved in my case, she would often contact me outside of normal office hours when necessary, which I truly appreciated. Lindsay listened attentively, gave honest and professional advice, and always made me feel valued and heard. Thanks to their support, I successfully obtained a Child Arrangements Order – Live With and a Prohibited Steps Order. I am also continuing to work with Eaton Smith regarding my civil divorce and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing family law support.

I have been during business with this excellent firm for over 10 years. It was the first time I was assigned to Adeeba who I engaged to take on breach of contract action. This action had a particular complication as it involved jurisdictional issues, but if didn't phase Adeeba as she was adept at every turn. Her advice was always sound on point and timely which eventually led to an excellent outcome for me. I recommend the Eaton Smith firm and if you are looking for one with excellent experience in litigation, then I would gladly recommend Adeeba Bashir, she is a great asset to her company and to the profession. I instructed Eaton Smith to advise on a contractual dispute concerning the interpretation of a termination clause. Unfortunately, the service I received fell well below my expectations. The issue I asked them to advise on was very specific. Rather than addressing that issue directly and explaining the reasoning behind their conclusions, I received advice that largely restated the contractual wording and factual background that I had already provided. When I queried the reasoning and asked for clarification, I was told that further explanation would require an additional fee. The most frustrating aspect was not the conclusion reached, but the repeated failure to engage with the actual question being asked. Throughout the matter, and later through the firm's complaints procedure, I repeatedly raised the same concern. Rather than addressing it, the response was simply to insist that adequate reasoning had already been provided. There were also numerous administrative problems including delays, incorrect use of email addresses, poor communication and a general lack of attention to detail. Taken together, these issues created the impression of a firm that does not listen carefully to its clients or properly follow instructions. What should have been a straightforward request for professional guidance resulted in additional confusion, unnecessary stress and ultimately a dispute with the solicitors themselves. Based on my experience, I would not instruct Eaton Smith again.

James Johnston dealt with my personal injury claim. I shall miss his emails - I thoroughly enjoyed how he presented me with options - allowing me to make choices that were right for me as he worked through my claim following my accident. He was also very efficient and responsive to any emails I sent. I would be very happy to recommend to anyone dealing with their personal injury claim
