I decided to consult Barcan + Kirby with regard to a possible claim for medical negligence after reading many positive client reviews. On my initial visit when I presented my synopsis of events I was given very clear and helpful advice by Adrian, now retired, and by everyone else that became involved. My case was against two defendants, this did not help because one was a great deal slower than the other in responding throughout the entire process but with the very competent Fiona at the helm we came to a very successful conclusion. I should add that I had health problems during the legal process and I think Fiona deserves a medal for the patience and tactful manner in which she handled everything. I would not liked to have to dealt with myself during this time.

These solicitors are the solicitors of our buyers, they have caused multiple delays. Everytime we think we are there some error pops up that they should of sorted long before, the incompetence is unreal, they have caused a lot of stress, time and loss of money, please avoid using if you wish a smooth stress free house move.

Had 3 different solicitors during the single conveyancing process. Made serious mistakes, most of which we picked up on eg a higher house price on the contract than we’d agreed to pay! However misled us into thinking that additional land that came with the house wasn’t sizeable and only months after the purchase, when we spotted undisclosed documents had been sent to the land registry, did we realise what we’d signed away. Will NEVER use these incompetent people again

meticulous and clear advice and case strategy in a fatal Clin.Neg case of high complexity, The firm combines the excellence and sophistication of a National specialist department with the face to face contact and support needed by clients in this field.
I was a client for 6 very long years which cost me my life savings only to be told at the end I didn't have a case to answer to which any other law firm would of recognised within a few months but Barcan & Kirby were much more interested in getting the money before destroying my only one chance of winning a very straight forward case.They did manage to bleed the case right until the last minute it was due to go to court in December 2015.

Had conveyancing practice deal with the purchase of a new home for me 4 years ago, & I’m still being told by lenders that part of the property doesn’t belong to me!!

We are very happy with the service Barcan and Kirby provided. We were selling a flat that we have owned for a number of years and knew it would take some time due to having to navigate the changes in ground rent. As part of the sale we needed negotiate a deed of variation with the land lord. Sally expertise and guidance in the area were critical in getting us to the finish line. I can not speak highly enough of the service she provided to us and the effort in navigating some challenging stakeholders.
