Superb support with a tough sale

We chose Taylor Rose, as it was recommended by an agent. It was the right decision to make.
Sadia, who represented us for our sale and purchase, helped us a lot. She dealt with lots of issues on our sale, caused mainly by a complete negligence on the buyer's side. There were moments when Sadia had to chase other solicitors on daily basis. Eventually, thanks to her, we are in our new home and both sale and purchase are now complete.

Highly recommended!

Unprofessional and Expensive !

Poor from start to finish! Had to be continuously chased up and were very slow to react. When they did respond, it would normally be curt (bordering on rude) responses, more aimed at us rather than addressing the issues or getting on with the work. When urgent enquires were required, they would just send an E Mail and put on hold. Instead of being proactive in making chase up telephone calls. This resulted in us making numerous telephone calls and enquires to get these actions completed. This work by ourselves was not reflected in our bill and we had to pay well above original quote, even though they did reduce part of our bill.

Really really poor

Taylor Rose have repeatedly been slow, inconsistent and have an astounding lack of attention to detail. They're incapable of even carrying out basic tasks such as correctly spelling names on contracts, and even lied to our faces that this was not their fault. Watch out for the extortionate hidden fees that are buried deep in the small print of their contracts. We were quoted £2000 for our transaction and ended up paying over £3000. A number of these fees are core elements required for buying a house - e.g we paid £234 for bank transfers involved in the purchase.
I've never had such an awful experience dealing with any business ever. Avoid at all costs.

Note this was the Wimbledon branch but not an option to select

Best Solicitor I have ever used.

Peter Hawker is an excellent Solicitor and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone needing house conveyancing services. In fact I already have given his details out as I was so impressed. I had a neurotic wobble at the start and he was so kind and understanding and took the time to explain everything. He has the patience of a saint. He guided us through the choppy waters of a house sale and purchase with an ease I have never encountered before. Usually you’re in a state of high stress for the whole 3 months, but under Peters guidance there were times I almost forgot we were selling and buying! He answers emails and voicemails quickly and gets all the necessary paperwork done in the first few weeks and you can just sit back while he takes care of it all. He could have had us in in just over 9 weeks had the start of the chain not been in an apparent coma. The previous couple who tried to buy the house we bought got 6 months in and Probate had still not been sorted so the chain fell apart. Peter got the Probate Solicitor into action within weeks and it was all done. Do not look anywhere else. This is the 8th house I’ve bought and was the best experience of them all. I really appreciate everything Peter did for us and am eternally grateful. Thank you.

Amina Khatun, just exceptional at her job!

I do not usually leave reviews, but felt that I could not miss the opportunity in this case to thank Amina Khatun for all the excellent work she did managing my recent house sale in Reading, Berks.

She was just outstanding in all aspects of the transaction.

Quick to respond with a quote after my initial enquiry, very reasonably priced, highly proactive throughout, and someone who actually seemed to care about me and what I may have been experiencing (stress level wise) at times.

Amina was just the right amount of tenacious, without being overly pushy, knowing when to let things 'run their course' versus when to keep on top of not only my buyer's solicitor but also my estate agent too.

Had I not been told that I needed to use a Scottish Estate agent for my purchase in Glasgow I would have absolutely used her for this too, and even my Scots Solicitor commented on how easy and pleasant Amina had been to work with.

She is an absolute credit to Taylor Rose, and I would not hesitate to use her again/recommend her to friends and family.

Thank you again Amina, you made what could have been a stressful transaction so much easier because of your work ethic, working style, and just the fact that you come across as a truly decent and genuine person who cares about her customers.

Regards,
Niall Tucker

Taylor Rose have been absolutely brilliant in handling the purchase of my property, in particular Ellie Karoubi and her team. Every time I contacted Ellie, she has come come to me so quickly and her responses were always professional and understanding despite me asking so many additional questions. I found Ellie to be very personable and patient through this process. I was very impressed with how thorough the searches were that were conducted. I received a full break down of every inquiry, responses and next steps. Ellie also kept me updated on any additional costs and always gave me the option to conduct other additional searches if I required. I also like the fact that they offered additional services such as Will writing, advice on moving and recommendations on how to change my addresses with ease. I highly recommend Taylor Rose as they are extremely efficient and professional. Thank you for all the work in making the purchase of my property seamless.
