worst solicitor

The worst solicitor conveyancing experience ever. Taylor rose use franchise type set up and their case handlers Hassan Khan and Chirag Chopra were the most unprofessional and incompetent team that delayed the process, continuous away on leave, never communicated well with each other or the client. Costing me more than 9 months to do a job that would take normally 4-5 months and with these delays, empty property until completion cost me over £10,000 in losses. I would never recommend the two and who are a black mark to the brand Taylor Rose.

Superb support with a tough sale

We chose Taylor Rose, as it was recommended by an agent. It was the right decision to make.
Sadia, who represented us for our sale and purchase, helped us a lot. She dealt with lots of issues on our sale, caused mainly by a complete negligence on the buyer's side. There were moments when Sadia had to chase other solicitors on daily basis. Eventually, thanks to her, we are in our new home and both sale and purchase are now complete.

Highly recommended!

Unprofessional and Expensive !

Poor from start to finish! Had to be continuously chased up and were very slow to react. When they did respond, it would normally be curt (bordering on rude) responses, more aimed at us rather than addressing the issues or getting on with the work. When urgent enquires were required, they would just send an E Mail and put on hold. Instead of being proactive in making chase up telephone calls. This resulted in us making numerous telephone calls and enquires to get these actions completed. This work by ourselves was not reflected in our bill and we had to pay well above original quote, even though they did reduce part of our bill.

Paul Green from the Bognor Regis office acted for us in the sale of our property. He was fast, efficient and always contactable and reasonably priced. A pleasant change from the service we had received from some other solicitors. Highly recommended.

Really really poor

Taylor Rose have repeatedly been slow, inconsistent and have an astounding lack of attention to detail. They're incapable of even carrying out basic tasks such as correctly spelling names on contracts, and even lied to our faces that this was not their fault. Watch out for the extortionate hidden fees that are buried deep in the small print of their contracts. We were quoted £2000 for our transaction and ended up paying over £3000. A number of these fees are core elements required for buying a house - e.g we paid £234 for bank transfers involved in the purchase.
I've never had such an awful experience dealing with any business ever. Avoid at all costs.

Note this was the Wimbledon branch but not an option to select

Fantastic experience - took away the stress of buying and selling!

We recently sold and purchased our home and Jade came highly recommended. Jade's experience and professionalism was evident throughout the whole process and she kept us well informed with any updates as soon as she had them. I dreaded the buying and selling process but Jade went above and beyond to explain every step. She took away the stress and worry of buying and selling our house and we can't recommend her enough!

excellant service

From the start, our Solicitor, Tracey Laflin, was very professional, kind and considerate. She took time in explaining the process of selling the property to my elderly mother, so that she could understand the procedure. She was very efficient, and nothing was too much trouble. She kept us updated all the way via phone or email. Tracey visited us, which was alot better than having to go into an office as the atmosphere was well relaxed. Thank you Tracey for all your work and supporting mum along the way.

Absolutely dreadful

Poor communication, lack of accountability and actively. No response to emails and can’t get hold of them. Always ‘on the other line’. Had to cancel and go with someone else. Was also told she did not have the capacity to deal due to their workload.

Great service for what was a fairly complex piece of conveyancing. Katy Shanel and her colleague Adara were responsive and helpful throughout, and I would be happy to work with them again.

Was the second time of using Taylor Rose in the last 4 years. The latest transaction has completed today. Katy Shanel and Adara Bridgeman were excellent throughout. We were kept informed all the way through, didnt have to chase for an update once. Everything was made clear for us, no hidden surprises and I would therefore thoroughly recommend these guys. Amazing job, thank you 5*

Recently used Taylor Rose for my sale and purchase of property in SW London. Throughout the whole conveyancing process, Diarmuid, Yashley and Aaliyah worked efficiently to resolve issues as they arose and kept me informed along the way, right through to completion. Highly recommended.
