Very poor interaction. Client care team that addresses new client enquiries wasted a lot of time, confirmed availability of a solicitor on a short notice for a court hearing, wasted 2 days of no response (despite multiple emails and calls), only to come back to withdraw noting the solicitor isn’t available for an unconvincing explanation. Very poor service but grateful I discovered this from the outset, better that than to have assigned them as representative for an important case

I have been working with Louise Forsyth on both children and financial proceedings, and she has been excellent throughout. What has impressed me most is her attention to detail and her professionalism. Louise is very ethical in her approach and always ensures that everything put before the court is accurate and fairly presented. She takes the time to explain all of the available options together with the pros and cons of each approach, allowing me to make informed decisions. She provides clear, practical advice on the best course of action but never makes me feel pressured into taking a route that I am not comfortable with. Family proceedings are incredibly stressful, but having someone who is knowledgeable, approachable and genuinely committed to achieving the best possible outcome has made a huge difference. Divorce - especially when it comes to finances and children - is one of the hardest things to get through. The care and support of having good quality solicitors cannot be understated. Ellie, and Olivia before her, was excellent throughout, keeping me grounded on what was possible while also protecting me from the emotional and confrontational side. I do not believe my outcome would have been as good or as final without her support. Solicitors are expensive, and the much-referenced difficulty deciphering Stowe invoices is true, but I see them as an investment. An investment to claim my former life back, with the protection of knowing that my and my children's interests have been backed. I am truly thankful that within a short time frame, now my consent order has been sealed, I should be able to move on to a post-married life. And I have Ellie and the Stowe team to thank for that.
