I was extremely impressed by the way in which Chris Zahner worked through the problematic and complex sale of my property. I could not have wished for a more professional and personable lawyer to deal with my house move. It was always a pleasure speaking to Chris and he dealt thoroughly and quickly with all the issues that came up during the sale (of which there were many) and he provided excellent advice throughout the period of the conveyance. He always put my mind at rest and I knew that I could fully rely upon his sound judgment and expertise. I regularly recommended Chris to both friends and family.

Would give 0 if I could. Poor communication by the firm, we weren’t direct clients of theirs but our buyers used this firm and the process got dragged along so much for incompetent solicitors (Nicole lush in this case) who would not respond to anyone (estate agents, our buyer, our solicitors..) but picked up the phone to our vendors solicitors who were frustrated with the delay and only as she probably didn’t know their number. On the day of exchange again no updates from her until close of end of the day. Absolute appalling service, our buyer has told us they wouldn’t recommend them to their worst enemy.
Having reviewed this thoroughly, our understanding of the transaction and the services provided to our client differs materially from the account presented here. As you are not a client of our firm, we are limited in what we can say regarding this matter.
Karim was fantastic throughout the sale of our house and onwards purchase. He was meticulous with the searches and patient in answering our questions, always taking the time to talk things through. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Be very careful here with fees. I had a recent engagement with their employment law team which was initially a really good experience, Really responsive and friendly. We completed a fairly straightforward transaction on a pretty vanilla agreement in quick time and then all of a sudden, an excess invoice for several hundred pounds landed in my inbox. No warning before the cost was accrued, just a reference to a clause and a brief explanation that they weren’t able to complete in the allotted time. It’s a shame as based on the initial engagement, I had a couple of other bits of work that I wanted to discuss with the wider company, but transparency is too important to me, so I’ll go find someone else to help!
Definitely recommend Tyla, very thorough and was always available to answer any questions, also would come to Guildford to meet us which made it so much easier as my brother in law is 100 percent deaf, so communication isn’t the easiest, we had originally employed another solicitor who wanted to do everything on line and this is not easy for lots of people, Tyla would definitely be my first choice with future legal problems, Emma
