Went in to this process quite stressed as previous solicitors were vague and slow to respond. Suzi was professional and attentative, responding to all my queries promptly. This level of customer service (as well as the desired end result) was key to the 5 star rating. They explained the steps involved and provided a clear breakdown of the charges, making the whole process very transparent, thus alieviating alot of the stress. The whole process was dealt with swiftly and the solicitors fees worth it.

Very poor experience at the start with the first solicitor assigned to our file, to the point we were looking to go elsewhere, we received little to no communication, poor response times if any at all.. We were then contacted by Sanche Tutter from the conveyance team (thankfully the first solicitor had gone on annual leave and Sanche had been passed our file) from there onwards the service was absolutely faultless, great communication throughout, always kept in contact & kept us up to date with every little detail even whilst Sanche was ill he was contacting us from home and keeping us informed with what was happening with our property purchase, We had some dealings with other members of staff in-between and unfortunately the experience was as poor as the first solicitor assigned but for Sanche’s service alone we will be leaving a 5 star review.

We used Nelsons recently for our house sale and purchase. We found communication to be very very poor resulting in a lot of unnecessary stress for our chain. (after weeks of discussing a completion date it appeared our sellers weren't informed of this date until the week before we were due to move whilst they were on holiday).We tried to send a complaint but after one response which didn't resolve our complaint they still haven't come back to us to speak about the issues we had. It feels like it was very much passed off. We definitely feel it was hard to get a response to any questions we had.. It was impossible to speak to our nominated conveyancer over the phone if we tried to call it was always voicemail most emails were chasing emails to find out what was happening or if anything else was needed from us to move forward. We wouldn't recommend using Nelsons unless they improve on customer service and communication.
