I am very dissatisfied with the service provided by the solicitor. The communication was at a very low level, which made the entire process unnecessarily stressful and frustrating. I expected more professionalism and support.
Paid a premium for TR and got zero service. Weeks of chasing with no replies, solicitor on holiday with no cover, constant excuses about “systems down.” Property sale dragged, enquiry still outstanding abe not chased properly. Finally decided to cut my loses and switched to a cheaper firm who at least reply. AVOID AVOID AVOID

We were keen to work with an experienced solicitor rather than a junior at a large firm, having previously encountered delays and mistakes that made the process unnecessarily frustrating. Amy at Taylor Rose came highly recommended and, while not the cheapest (though still very competitive), she proved to be outstanding at every stage. Amy was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. We needed to make a few changes along the way, but she was patient throughout, taking the time to clearly explain everything—nothing ever felt like too much trouble. She was always easy to contact and remained completely on top of the process from start to finish. I would highly recommend Amy and would like to take this opportunity to thank her for doing such a fantastic job!

My experience with Taylor Rose was Excellent! My solicitor was NQ Solicitor Jonathan Atputharatnam and he was Excellent! Jonathan answered every question I had with clarity, he was very patient with me and my case, he was incredibly helpful, personable, knowledgeable, proactive and professional. I would thoroughly recommend Taylor Rose as a Law Firm and I would use Taylor Rose again, in the future.

Not great service unfortunately. Firstly I had no communication after submitting my original documentation, when I called they said I needed access to their online portal the details of which were never sent to me. When I got access there were a number of items outstanding and one which said it had been done incorrectly (it hadn't the message had been sent in error) I then got multiple reminders each Monday for documentation that they already had. When I called to check everything would complete (after sending multiple messages through the portal with no response) I got a very rude person on the end of the phone. Finally, the emails I was sent with the completion statements on referred to the wrong lender. And even though my case has now completed the portal still shows 75% complete... Overall, next time I will pay for legals instead of using the free legals that came with the mortgage, in the hopes I might get some kind of communication throughout the process.
Nirali Patel and Jesh Persaud at Taylor Rose Solicitors are absolute professionals. They stepped into what could have been an incredibly stressful process and just made it look easy from day one. What stood out to me most was their sharp eye for detail; they managed to spot and sort out every single outstanding point before we signed a thing, saving me from some major headaches down the road. As a Mortgage Broker, I’ve worked with property solicitors for many years, so I know how important it is to have someone who is knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. Horrendous customer service. Off the scale hostility and absolutely no way to speak to a paying customer. Never have I ever been treated like this before especially when you’re paying thousands. A formal investigation has already been raised for the incident at the front door on Wednesday 15 July at 12:50 a.m. I really hope their CCTV has audio to hear the way we were spoken to.
I never write reviews, but feel inclined to after my terrible experience at the Sevenoaks branch on Wednesday (15th July). We are paying customers, and the hostility and rudeness we experienced from the woman who answered the door for absolutely no reason was off the charts. Her behaviour and the way I was spoken to completely caught me off guard, nobody should be spoken to like that and I truly hope this incident is looked into further. Not the sort of service you would expect from a business of this sort, especially when the branch I had been dealing with up to this point has been nothing but brilliant. A real shame.
We instructed Paul Green to act for us on the sale of our property. Both him and Jasmine Drury were approachable, friendly and overall excellent throughout the process. Our sale went through within 8 weeks, problem free, this is all thanks to Paul and Jasmines efficiency. I would recommend Paul a million times over, thank you so much!
