We recently completed both the sale of our old property and the purchase of our new home, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for better support from Emily throughout the entire process. Our move involved a long and stressful chain with multiple delays and last-minute issues, but Emily was consistently calm, professional, responsive and reassuring from start to finish. She kept us updated throughout, explained everything clearly, and was always proactive in chasing matters and keeping things moving where possible. When things became particularly stressful towards exchange and completion, Emily was incredibly patient and supportive, helping us understand exactly where things stood and what was happening behind the scenes. We always felt that she genuinely cared about getting things over the line for us. Despite the complexity of the chain, everything completed successfully and we are now happily settled in our new home. We’re so grateful for all of Emily’s hard work and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a solicitor for their sale or purchase.

Rachel and her team have done a brilliant job handling a very difficult tenancy issue for us. This was the second time in a couple of years that I've used Farleys to act for me when selling property and they don't disappoint. My case was dealt with by Sophie Thomson and she was top class. I've used other solicitors in the past and have always struggled to get through and speak to the actual person dealing with me. This is not the case with Farleys. You get to speak to your solicitor directly, which is very reassuring and you are kept up to date with everything going on. Even emails are replied to within minutes, with a proper reply! This was particularly good when we had a few issues from the buyers that delayed the process. A big thank you to Sophie Thomson & Graeme Booth at Farleys for making the sale go through as smooth as possible. Would recommend Farleys and in particular Sophie Thomson to anyone buying or selling property. Will use again in the future.

Prior to buying my first house this year, I’d never hired a solicitor and so I was a bit nervous about committing to something that serious and binding! As I’d worked with a lot of law firms, I also knew that standards could vary a lot, so I made sure to call different conveyancers to get a feel for them and to obtain multiple quotes. Graeme’s was exactly in the middle of those I received. I decided to go for it as he came across as the most approachable, genuine and solid. I’m so glad I trusted my instincts as thanks to him and his team the process went without a hitch. Importantly, the final price came in at exactly what I was expecting and they didn’t add on any extra fees. They made everything extremely easy and thanks to all of their hard work and effort, I now have my dream home! If I ever needed a solicitor again, I would go straight to Graeme/Farleys. I’ve already recommended him to my friends.

Graeme Booth was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to assist me, even though he wasn’t my lawyer. After calling many people who wouldn’t help because I wasn’t their client, Graeme spent over half an hour on the phone guiding me through a stamp duty issue, providing clear explanations and evidence of what I should actually pay - all free of charge. His knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to help made a big difference. For that reason, I will definitely be using his services in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone.

From my initial meeting through to the end Nick Molyneux dealt with my case demonstrating his expertise, professionalism and caim manner. The Defendant denied liability all along , however Nick"s tenacity and experience shone through resulting in me being rewarded with the compensation I feel I deserved. I CONTACTED FARLEYS MONTHS AGO TO ARRANGE CRIMINAL DEFENCE IN WIGAN. I SPOKE WITH RICHARD PREW AND ARRANGED FOR HIM TO DEFEND ME AT COURT IN A CRIMINAL TRIAL. RICHARD SAID HE WOULD CONTACT ME APPROXIMATELY 1 WEEK BEFORE THE TRIAL AFTER HE GETS THE CASE FILES FROM CPS. NO CONTACT WAS EVER MADE - RICHARD NEVER LOOKED AT MY FILE AND NEVER BOTHERED TO CONTACT ME!! NOW, JUST 2 DAYS BEFORE MY FIRST HEARING, COLEEN FROM FARLEYS CALLED ME AND TOLD ME RICHARD WAS NOT ABLE TO ATTEND COURT AND I WOULD HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER SOLICITOR - 2 DAYS BEFORE MY TRIAL BEGINS!!!!! I TOLD COLEEN IT WAS APPALLING AND UNBELIEVABLE THAT A PROFESSIONAL SOLICITOR WOULD SIMPLY LEAVE ONE OF THEIR CLIENTS HIGH AND DRY LIKE THAT - IN SUCH A TERRIBLE POSITION. COLEEN SIMPLY TOLD ME TO GET A DUTY SOLICITOR INSTEAD. THEY NEVER OFFERED TO SEND ANOTHER SOLICITOR - NOTHING - LITERALLY JUST LEFT ME HIGH AND DRY 2 DAYS BEFORE MY TRIAL AFTER I'VE ARRANGED DEFENCE WITH THEM MANY MONTHS AGO!!! I SUFFER FROM AUTISM AND OTHER MENTAL HEALTH DISABILITIES, NOW I'M IN AN ANXIOUS MESS TRYING TO RECTIFY THIS APPALLING SITUATION THAT FARLEY'S SOLICITORS HAS DUMPED ME IN! I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY HAVE DONE THIS - NOT EVEN AN OFFER TO SEND ANOTHER SOLICITOR - JUST "GOODBYE - DEAL WITH THIS ONE" AVOID FARLEYS LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!
