I would strongly advise against anyone instructing Taylor Rose for a property transaction. Following our purchase, Taylor Rose failed to identify errors in our mortgage deed before submitting the registration application to HM Land Registry. This led to avoidable requisitions, significant delays and months of uncertainty. Communication throughout the process was extremely poor. We repeatedly had to chase for updates, were provided with the contact details of an employee who had already left the firm, and ultimately had to contact HM Land Registry ourselves to establish the status of the application. It was only through our own enquiries that we discovered the application was approaching a critical deadline. The delays had serious financial consequences. Our mortgage offer expired whilst the registration issues remained unresolved, forcing us to secure a new mortgage product at a significantly higher interest rate. Taylor Rose has accepted responsibility for a number of failings and has offered a small amount compensation but nothing close to our losses. We remain dissatisfied with the outcome and have now referred the matter to the Legal Ombudsman for independent review. What is most disappointing is that the complaint itself took almost six months to reach a final response, including missed deadlines within Taylor Rose's own complaints process. Mistakes can happen, but what matters is how they are handled. Unfortunately, our experience was characterised by avoidable errors, poor communication and a lack of accountability for the full financial impact of those failings. Based on our experience, I would not use Taylor Rose again.

Previously I was using another extremely slow conveyancing service whereby we were still doing back and forth enquiries after 6 months and response times of 2 weeks, which almost jeopardised the entire process. Switching over to Taylor Rose was the best decision I could have made. After explaining my previous situation and them knowing that we had tight deadlines to meet, Luciana and Yasir worked tirelessly to ensure that deadlines were met, all approximately within a one month timeframe. Communication, timeliness of responses and keeping all parties updated were always done professionally and rapidly. I cannot recommend them enough!

My experience with Taylor Rose Solicitors has been the worst experience I have ever had with a professional service. Communication was extremely poor throughout the entire process. Emails regularly went unanswered, and when responses did arrive, they were often delayed and unhelpful. The lack of communication caused unnecessary stress and significantly delayed the progress of my matter. To make matters worse, my name was repeatedly recorded incorrectly despite informing them several times and requesting that it be corrected. It is very frustrating to see basic details continually overlooked, especially when dealing with important legal matters where accuracy is essential. There also appeared to be no clear chain of responsibility or accountability, making it difficult to get answers or understand who was actually handling my case. The overall service felt disorganised, inefficient, and unprofessional. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Taylor Rose Solicitors to anyone. The delays, lack of communication, repeated mistakes, and poor customer service made what should have been a straightforward process far more difficult than it needed to be. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for legal representation.

It was a case of, we got there in the end. When things are straight forward I am sure they are fine. Trying to communicate with them using the portal can be challenging as either questions go unanswered or the answers don't actually respond to the question or actions are slow to be followed up. Mixed messages given. Speaking on the phone tends to lead to a more human response. This is the 2nd time using Taylor Rose and a similar experience each time
