The dispute resolution team were highly knowledgeable about contract law, practical and strategic. This was a complicated case and they took the time to understand the situation, the key issues and risks. Ashtons is very trustworthy and reliable. I needed quick advice with a strict budget and was very satisfied. I had an initial consult with Michael who quickly identified my needs with precision and relevant knowledge. We agreed high level, strategic advice was more valuable than detailed legal research, which ended up exactly suiting my needs and staying within budget. Additionally client care was great and I felt looked after throughout - thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely awful service! Writng a review on behalf of a relative and colleague.The recent service and experience a colleague of mine has had has been absolutely awful.. the worse customer services ever! The solicitor keeps making mistakes, asking for forms and docs they have, which have already been completed weeks ago. When challenged, the solicitor makes excuses rather than taking ownership or responsibility for their own internal mistakes. The solicitor has behaved rudley on a few occasions, slow in replying to anything. A long process, a very painful experience, the solictor is consistently very unhelpful. AVOID this company, Absolutely AWFUL.

Awful, wretched service. Called up to get a solicitor quote, was promised a call back within 2 days. 4 days later, nothing. Called again, said someone will respond asap. Still no response. What will it take to make businesses return calls and stop treating customers like garbage. Do not recommend unless you enjoy irritation and being ignored.

Our move was across over 200 miles and as we are both in our 70’s now it felt very daunting. However, we had nothing to worry about. Abby was very efficient every step of the way, patiently explaining the process and keeping us calm. Ashton’s Legal are one of the most professional firms of solicitors we have dealt with. If Abby was not available another member of the team knew exactly what was happening. I'm happy with the perseverance shown by Alan Brown and Stephanie Lems in navigating the intricacies of the above through the Office of the Public Guardian. It was not that straightforward. They also explained the issues involved very clearly so it was easier to take decisions.

It’s no exaggeration when I say that Ashtons Legal changed my life after I sustained a catastrophic traumatic brain injury aged 20. Ashtons was recommended to me by the PALS team at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, and I reached out to them in early 2022 and the case concluded in mid 2026 due to its complexity. Thanks to the absolutely tenacious eye for detail that Mick Upton used in my case against the individual who injured me in a hit-and-run, and the ice cold professionalism and legal acumen that Marcus Grant presented against the insurance company who were the defendants in the case, I am now protected for the foreseeable future and have access to cutting edge care and financial advice outsourced to excellent advisors who also have a great eye for all things economic. Throughout the four-year process I was kept in the loop every step of the way. No stone was left unturned and nothing was left to chance - Mick Upton led from the front to secure me a settlement which is absolutely life changing and Marcus Grant was there to be the face of negotiation, assist and to provide crucial representation when it mattered most. Throughout it all there was a team of ferociously dedicated and committed executives, managers and assistants who formed the backbone of the case and provided their expert aid when I needed questions answered or needed to provide my own input. I would like to thank one of them, Louise Reardon, for being so kind, helpful and understanding when I found it difficult to complete forms or communicate effectively with the team. Her compassion was second to none, matched only by her ability to assist and offer guidance. For them this was another day at the office. For me, it was simply life changing and I cannot express my gratitude adequately in this review. If you need a personal injury team that fights tooth and nail for the best outcome, look no further. 10/10.
