Truly remarkable solicitor
Danielle has been fantastic right from the moment she took on my case . She really listened to how I had suffered due to clinical negligence during a private operation and totally understood what I was going through. She displayed great sensitivity and empathy towards me when we spoke.
The case was very challenging as I had no support from any of the medical profession who I had asked for help. For someone who didn't know me before we spoke she showed great trust and belief in me.
During the case I came to understand more about what had gone wrong during the operation which helped me deal with the situation.
There were times when even the experts she recruited were not fully supportive but she kept on with steely determination .

Our family has endured unimaginable trauma following the stillbirth of my granddaughter, baby Vienna. This was my daughter’s first baby, a moment in her life that should have been filled with joy, excitement, and dreams for the future. Instead, all of that hope was shattered in an instant, leaving my daughter and our entire family with a grief so deep that it has changed our lives forever.
The trauma my daughter has carried since losing her baby has been overwhelming. She has had to face day after day of heartbreak, confusion, and emotional pain that no mother should ever have to experience. Watching her try to rebuild her life while grieving her first child has been devastating. As her mum, you want nothing more than to take that unbearable pain away and lift it from her shoulders, but you simply cannot. All you can do is stand beside her, even when your own heart is breaking.

Danielle didn’t just support us legally; she supported us emotionally too. She understood the depth of my daughter’s grief and treated her with compassion, patience, kindness, and genuine humanity. She also helped me find the strength to continue supporting and encouraging my daughter through some of the darkest moments of our lives.

If you need a solicitor, you definitely need to read this review, especially if it's for a medical negligence claim.
I feel that I need to leave a review as I received such genuinely good service and care.
I approached Nelson Solicitors after a recommendation from a relative as I had been turned down by two other solicitors who told me that they would not take on my case. One of them was a very large and highly ranked law firm. From the first phone enquiry to the finish, I received a professional and friendly service. Matthew Olner, my solicitor and his team, guided me through one of the most difficult times of my life and treated me more like a friend than just a client, which inspired confidence. They kept me informed of the process and progress throughout every step of the way. Matthew's previous medical experience was second to none. He understood my case much better than expected, which is vital in a claim like mine. Medical negligence claims are complicated and time-consuming and time sensitive. You need to choose a solicitor who knows exactly what you need and what needs to be done to get you the very best outcome possible. The result was a payout that covers the cost of changes that I will need to make both now and in the future. It compensates for the damage received and the financial losses we have incurred. It will not put me back to life I had before, but it will afford me to live a different life and lifestyle.
