Waited 7+ weeks for a simple solicitor task and nothing materialised

Disappointingly I agreed to give Farleys the work to review some covenants, aftering commencing agreement on the 18th Dec...7 working weeks later, promises of work to be completed, weeks later and nothing has materialised. I have wasted 2 months for absolutely nothing, far too busy to manage workload- lack being transparent up front on timescales and don't prioritise work based on when the you commissioned them. PS care letter states 2 weeks expected!

Paul mulderrig has wasted 4yrs on my claim. He never returns your calls unless you ring off a different number and everytime you do speak ro him its the same old story( no progression form beginning). Im tired of enailing, messaging and calling him now. He did accuse me of not telling the truth without elaborating so obviously i was furious that he could make something like that up so i wouldn't want to work with him maybe. I got nothing still waiting. My judhe is far greater than him. Thsnks for NOTHING

Completely unprofessional

The company took on my claim. The solicitor dealing with my claim delayed paperwork on several occasions before leaving the company without me being informed. These delays caused me to miss court deadlines resulting in me being unable to make a claim.

Jade at farleys has been a massive help with my claim from start to finish. Whilst I had some evidence with pictures I had no clue how things would go, or even if Id even have a case at all! Being reassured by the team at farleys helped a lot, they handled all of it really well and Jade was brilliant as she was given my case half way through, and she got it finished and over the line today. I would recommend the team at farleys to anyone who is on the fence when claiming, as it’s no win no fee, and you will be advised accordingly if you have a claim. 10/10

Nick molyneux dealt with my claim and was very helpful. He never sugar coated anything and daid things how they are which is good, as it doesnt get expectations to be too high, which i liked about it, rather than saying just positive points about things. Explaining what can happen on the negative side aswell. I would point anyone his way if needing to claim

Represented by Atif Nazir, I had a very tricky and upsetting personal situation to deal with in which both myself and a relative who is terminally ill were being sued. Given the circumstances, it was a very emotional and distressing time for us all, and despite being made aware of the situation, the other side pursued the case relentlessly right through to the end, leaving the relative incredibly distressed on several occasions and our family with serious concerns as to his welfare. This was a large corporate fish taking on two small fish. Atif guided me expertly through the process, nothing was too much trouble, he was very reasonable, personable and incredibly patient and understanding. Ultimately we were successful in getting the application dismissed and recovering costs. I would not hesitate to recommend him and he would certainly be my first choice if I was to need corporate advice or representation again.

Prompt service, needed help when my insurance company couldnt raise a cheque to the correct person, or for the right amount despite 4 cheques being raised. One phone call from Farleys and guess what, a correct cheque made out to the right person for the right amount to pay out on a claim and got the claims against me personally stopped! Why have insurance if they won't pay out?

WARNING AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

I CONTACTED FARLEYS MONTHS AGO TO ARRANGE CRIMINAL DEFENCE IN WIGAN. I SPOKE WITH RICHARD PREW AND ARRANGED FOR HIM TO DEFEND ME AT COURT IN A CRIMINAL TRIAL. RICHARD SAID HE WOULD CONTACT ME APPROXIMATELY 1 WEEK BEFORE THE TRIAL AFTER HE GETS THE CASE FILES FROM CPS. NO CONTACT WAS EVER MADE - RICHARD NEVER LOOKED AT MY FILE AND NEVER BOTHERED TO CONTACT ME!! NOW, JUST 2 DAYS BEFORE MY FIRST HEARING, COLEEN FROM FARLEYS CALLED ME AND TOLD ME RICHARD WAS NOT ABLE TO ATTEND COURT AND I WOULD HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER SOLICITOR - 2 DAYS BEFORE MY TRIAL BEGINS!!!!! I TOLD COLEEN IT WAS APPALLING AND UNBELIEVABLE THAT A PROFESSIONAL SOLICITOR WOULD SIMPLY LEAVE ONE OF THEIR CLIENTS HIGH AND DRY LIKE THAT - IN SUCH A TERRIBLE POSITION. COLEEN SIMPLY TOLD ME TO GET A DUTY SOLICITOR INSTEAD. THEY NEVER OFFERED TO SEND ANOTHER SOLICITOR - NOTHING - LITERALLY JUST LEFT ME HIGH AND DRY 2 DAYS BEFORE MY TRIAL AFTER I'VE ARRANGED DEFENCE WITH THEM MANY MONTHS AGO!!! I SUFFER FROM AUTISM AND OTHER MENTAL HEALTH DISABILITIES, NOW I'M IN AN ANXIOUS MESS TRYING TO RECTIFY THIS APPALLING SITUATION THAT FARLEY'S SOLICITORS HAS DUMPED ME IN! I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY HAVE DONE THIS - NOT EVEN AN OFFER TO SEND ANOTHER SOLICITOR - JUST "GOODBYE - DEAL WITH THIS ONE" AVOID FARLEYS LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!! ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE - THE WORST, MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, INCONSIDERATE, APPALLING SOLICITORS I COULD EVER IMAGINE!! AVOID FARLEYS!!!!

Johnathan Bridge is an amazing solicitor. He took on a case that had been refused by many other solicitors. He made me aware of cica claims, that I had no idea existed. He worked hard and over a couple of years to make sure that I received compensation for the abuse I suffered as a child. He worked with a kind and empathetic approach to my experience and did all to make sure I came away with compensation. Not only did he receive a good amount of compensation, the whole process helped me to heal and move on. Highly recommend Johnathan.

Prior to buying my first house this year, I’d never hired a solicitor and so I was a bit nervous about committing to something that serious and binding! As I’d worked with a lot of law firms, I also knew that standards could vary a lot, so I made sure to call different conveyancers to get a feel for them and to obtain multiple quotes. Graeme’s was exactly in the middle of those I received. I decided to go for it as he came across as the most approachable, genuine and solid. I’m so glad I trusted my instincts as thanks to him and his team the process went without a hitch. Importantly, the final price came in at what I was expecting and they didn’t add on any extra fees. They made everything extremely easy and thanks to all of their hard work and effort, I now have my dream home! I hope I’ll never need a solicitor again, but if I did, I would go straight to Graeme and Farleys. I’ve already recommended him to my friends.
