A weight taken off our shoulders from day one!

I cannot rate Sean McCormack and the wonderful Kevin Underwood too highly. We were very nervous and worried about becoming involved in any kind of legal encounter, but Kevin, who was very friendly and easy to talk to, calmed our nerves and explained everything to us extremely patiently and thoroughly and it became an easy decision for us to put our trust in him. After we "signed up", it was, for us, a doddle, as everything was arranged and submitted for us and we just sat back and let Talor Rose take care of all that needed to be done. We really appreciated the speed with which our queries - and everything else - was dealt with and very happy with the quick and excellent settlement of our claim. We paid nothing up front and just sat back and took receipt of our funds when everything was finalised. Thanks a million Sean, Kevin and all involved in looking after us so very well.

Poor customer communication experience

I am very dissatisfied with the service provided by the solicitor. The communication was at a very low level, which made the entire process unnecessarily stressful and frustrating. I expected more professionalism and support.

Quick and simple advice

Louise very kindly helped me with the basics of my query to help me understand whether it was worth making a claim without charging me a fee. I really appreciated the time she took to help me with some basic questions that most other firms wouldn’t help with without charging an extortionate fee. I’ll definitely be going to Louise when we want to take things further.

Very efficient at taking your money but do not expect any work.

This law firm is very efficient at collecting its client monies but don’t expect any responses or progress on your case once they have banked their cheques. The “case manager” - who is purportedly the responsible lawyer in a case - seems to be a bogus title as nobody manages cases here. Instead, work seems to be entirely delegated to absent and irresponsible trainees (in my case somebody called Isa Choudhry) who do not respond to client emails, answer phone calls or call back requests. Expect to wait at least 10 working days for a response to an email. There is also no clear escalation process for complaints, which leads to a farcical situation in which I find myself Googling the names of senior partners and copying them into emails to try to prompt a response. I wholeheartedly regret hiring this firm and would not recommend them to anybody.

As a bit of a technophobe I initially found the online procedures a bit of a chore as I had not done anything like this before but customer services talked me through the process and I soon got into the swing of things. In fact everything was very well explained and ultimately the process was easy. Our solicitor was Subarna who was an absolute pleasure to deal with - very professional but friendly. Excellent communication throughout and very quick responses to any queries.

Horrendous customer service. Off the scale hostility and absolutely no way to speak to a paying customer. Never have I ever been treated like this before especially when you’re paying thousands. A formal investigation has already been raised for the incident at the front door on Wednesday 15 July at 12:50 a.m. I really hope their CCTV has audio to hear the way we were spoken to.

I never write reviews, but feel inclined to after my terrible experience at the Sevenoaks branch on Wednesday (15th July). We are paying customers, and the hostility and rudeness we experienced from the woman who answered the door for absolutely no reason was off the charts. Her behaviour and the way I was spoken to completely caught me off guard, nobody should be spoken to like that and I truly hope this incident is looked into further. Not the sort of service you would expect from a business of this sort, especially when the branch I had been dealing with up to this point has been nothing but brilliant. A real shame.
