I would highly recommend Lisa. She took over what had become a difficult and unnecessarily contentious commercial lease dispute after we decided to change solicitors, and the difference in approach was immediately apparent. The other side had adopted an increasingly adversarial approach which, at times, seemed more focused on mud-slinging and applying pressure than finding a sensible resolution. Lisa was excellent at cutting through the noise, keeping the focus firmly on the facts and legal issues that actually mattered, and recalibrating the balance between the parties. She was measured and pragmatic when that was required, but equally prepared to be firm when the circumstances called for it. The matter ultimately settled out of court on terms that I am confident were considerably better than we would have achieved had we continued with our previous representation.
