Highly recommend Seafords for lease extensions!
I spent two months looking for a lease extension solicitor, reaching out to probably 30 firms - both big and small - and no one would even touch my case. I wasn't even sure why, especially since everyone wanted to work with me when I was originally buying my property. Luckily, I came across Seafords, and they agreed to take on my case, which was allocated to Merlin Batchelor. Merlin did a fantastic job supporting me throughout the entire process. He replied to my emails in a timely manner, offered additional help when needed, and advised me on the best way forward. The whole process took almost a year, but the delays were entirely caused by the freeholder trying to squeeze as much money from me as possible by confusing and delaying things, as well as an additional five-month delay caused by a surveyor who took my money and disappeared for five months. I am really pleased with the way Merlin handled everything, and I highly recommend Seafords if you need to do a lease extension.
