Excellent and professional service from start to finish - Emily was first rate in taking us through all the options for our wills and patietly answering all our questions as we went along - highly recommended for those wanting to create new or update existing wills!

Fabulous! Richard and Jenny have been a Godsend, they are patient, understanding and above all professional. I have dealt with them over the death of both of my parents and on dealing with the two estates they have been incredible as they explain everything I need to know before time and in a very easy to understand way. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
I'd just lost my wife and needed to rewrite my will. Danielle made the whole process very easy to do. She was also very very understanding and supportive.

I have used Sills & Betteridge with a previous property purchase so I had no hesitation in using them again. The team I dealt with Alice and Charlie were very professional and thorough, they answered all my queries in good time and were extremely helpful and dealt with the property purchase without any problems. I used Sills and Betteridge both for the sale of my property and for the one I was purchasing. At each stage from quoting for the work through to completion, the team I was assigned (KIm's team) gave me accurate information, including costings and provided regular updates and answered my queries speedily at each point. My main contact person (Lucy), rang me with queries as well as answering her phone when I made them. I found this human contact hugely reassuring. The team were thorough in investigating a complex purchase which i was also glad to see. Likewise, with my sale, they responded speedily to all queries from my buyers. In summary, the team I was given were efficient, patient and professional on my behalf.

Jade and Chloe were excellent in dealing with my sale and purchase. Not everything went to plan. The gave clear advice and were easy to contact if an explanation was needed. Chloe was my main contact and she went over and beyond in her support. I would definitely recommend.

I couldn’t recommend Charlotte and Ed highly enough. They were absolutely fantastic throughout the sale of my house and made what can be a stressful process feel so much easier. They were professional, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful from start to finish, keeping me updated and always being on hand whenever I had a question. I really appreciated how approachable and reassuring they were throughout the whole process. A huge thank you to Charlotte, Ed and the whole team for all their hard work and support. I’m so pleased with the service I received and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a solicitor. Excellent service from start to finish!
Very efficient
Do not use this firm for anything relating to child proceedings. I used this firm for legal action regarding custody of my son. Over 2 years it went on for. Being charged through the nose for shoddy half done work. They completely misinformed me of my rights and what I could have challenged in the courts. They rinsed me of £15,000 with absolutely nothing to show for it in the end. It wasn't until I took on a barrister in the end to which she notified me it was the poorest work she had seen in 30 years of being a barrister specialising in family courts. By this time the damage had been done. The forms and paperwork filled out were incorrect with the wrong names and dates of birth. The work they provided was nothing short of complete incompetence and shoddy. When you complain they don't want to know and refuse to acknowledge your complaint. 2 years on I'm still fighting through the legal ombudsman as told to by my barrister. There is a lot more I could write but what's the point. They've ruined my life and taken no accountability for it. They would turn up 40 minutes late to court and still charge you for it. Shocking. Incompetent. Shoddy unbothered solicitors. Avoid if you want any chance of winning a custody battle.

I would highly recommend Sills & Betteridge. I recently dealt with Team Amy while purchasing two properties at the same time and I honestly couldn’t have asked for better service. I had already instructed another firm for one of the purchases before I came across Sills & Betteridge, so I was dealing with both firms at the same time. The difference was very noticeable. The quote was very reasonable, but what really impressed me was how quick, efficient and helpful Team Amy were throughout the whole process. They always responded so quickly to any questions I had and kept everything moving, which made the whole experience much easier. A special mention to Uros and Eve as well, who were both brilliant. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional and really helpful. I’m genuinely very pleased with the service I received from Sills & Betteridge and would definitely recommend them. Thank you to the whole team for all your help.

Jess Cooper once again sorts out a nightmare dispute and kept me calm and focused on the task in hand. Dealing with a very difficult co parent Jess remained professional and dealt with the issue at hand with her great experience making it another successful court appearance. Everytime Jess has represented me in court she has been able to make sure we have walked away with what is the right decision for my child and remained child focus the whole way through the 3 year that I have been working with her. I can not recommend Jess enough.
