I reached out to Suzanne McAuley at Sills & Betteridge in Nottingham through Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE). I needed Ms McAuley's help with an LPA registration on behalf of my mother who is suffering from mid-stage dementia. The legal work was straightforward, I think, but my sister and I needed Ms McAuley's 'safe pair of hands' in the process as my mother is losing her mental capacity. I really appreciated the solicitor's work which, although taking place during the Coronavirus pandemic period, was never anything other than prompt, efficient, informative ... and compassionate!
