I had instructed Sills & Betteridge for my husbands first UK Spouse Visa. From the first meeting with Deborah right up until the successful email I have felt nothing but support, warmth and total guidance. Don't get back to you after many calls and emails, no updates they've lost documents and then asked for another payment to get the same document made!!! Avoid Avoid!! when you complain, they stop acting on behalf of you!!! Nottingham branch and Derby branch

Excellent service, good, impartial advice with no hint at all of any sort of hard sell.
We had these so we could buy a house just to dropped 3 days before Christmas2025. We had to pay out for a new solicitor and pay out to Change for the mortgage just to find out that the searches that these were done was out of date which was resulted in us losing the property that we wanted to buy. So now we have to look again, she wasted three months of backwards and forwards .oh don’t worry I am make a formal complaint as she has lost us a lot of money and lost us the property. With very upset kids .

A bit of a late review as my mortgage was finalised in March 2025, but the service I have received from Sills & Betteridge Solicitors Lincoln was amazing! Our solicitor Ellinor Kilshaw was exceptional and if it wasn't for her going the extra mile we wouldn't be living in our dream home right now! She was quick, responsive and professional! Would recommend any day of the week!

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Alistair for his professionalism and support in administering my late father's estate. The administration of the will was not always straightforward and there were several challenges along the way, resulting in what was at times a lengthy and complex process. However, when Alistair took over the matter from the original solicitor, he quickly demonstrated a clear understanding of the case and worked diligently to bring the administration to a successful conclusion. Throughout, Alistair was professional, approachable, and responsive, keeping me informed and providing clear advice whenever needed. His calm and pragmatic approach helped navigate a number of difficulties and gave me confidence that the matter was progressing towards resolution. Losing a parent is never easy, and dealing with estate administration can add further stress at an already difficult time.
