Undertaking a house sale for the first time is not for the faint-hearted, and I am one of the faint-hearted! Add in the complication of trying to engage with a resentful ex-spouse who is resident abroad and the result could have been sleepless tear-filled nights spent gnawing at my fingernails! Instead, the conveyancing services provided by Sills & Betteridge were flawless from start to finish. Not a single sleepless night!! I would particularly like to commend my main contact, Angela Walker who was professional, efficient and exceptionally supportive throughout the process. From the initial client care letter through to completion, she kept me fully informed at every stage, explained each stage of the process clearly and responded promptly whenever documents or decisions were required. Angela possesses a wonderfully calm, considerate and reassuring disposition and nothing was too much trouble for her. She took the time to reassure me whenever I had a wobble and made me feel more than just another client. My emails were always responded to promptly and any requests for phone conversations were accommodated. Sills and Bettridge have a robust system in place to ensure clients are always promptly provided with accurate information about each stage of the conveyancing process. As first time buyers at a young age, myself and my partner didn’t really know where to start with the mortgage process. The sale of the property was a long drawn out process due to problems and delays further down the chain. The staff we dealt with Charlie and Alice kept us informed of progress and reasons for delays and frequently chased the other solicitors etc. I would not hesitate to use Sills and Betteridge again because I believe it was a good quality service at a fair price.

We were in the process of having 3 x Buy to Let properties purchased on the same day with the same lender. The date was fast approaching where if Completion did not take place - a new Mortgage Offer was required which would the process back the square one. Matthew at Sills & Betteridge pulled out all the stops to ensure that not only did the 3 x Mortgage Completions happened before the Mortgage Offer Expirey Date, but they were 2 x days ahead of schedule. Matthew never let us down, worked tirelessly and quietly in the background and then called us to sign the Legal Documents. At all times he was kind, polite, friendly, helpful and so reassuring throughout the whole process. We have never used Sills & Betteridge prior to these 3 x Transactions, but we most certainly will use them again in the future and we are giving Sills & Betteridge telephone number to our family and friends. I would 100% recommend Sills & Betteridge for your Property transactions - they most definitely won't let you down.

I would highly recommend Sills & Betteridge. I recently dealt with Team Amy while purchasing two properties at the same time and I honestly couldn’t have asked for better service. I had already instructed another firm for one of the purchases before I came across Sills & Betteridge, so I was dealing with both firms at the same time. The difference was very noticeable. The quote was very reasonable, but what really impressed me was how quick, efficient and helpful Team Amy were throughout the whole process. They always responded so quickly to any questions I had and kept everything moving, which made the whole experience much easier. A special mention to Uros and Eve as well, who were both brilliant. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional and really helpful. I’m genuinely very pleased with the service I received from Sills & Betteridge and would definitely recommend them. I have dealt with Sills & Betteridge Lincoln with conveyancing 3 times now and been both on the selling and buying end, and have to say their knowledge, efficiency, attention to detail and effectiveness are second to none. Even when dealing with difference circumstances (eg. putting property into a trust), they surpassed 2 other reputable solicitors contacted for quotes in their understanding (and the only ones to actually give us correct information!) Super quick to answer any emails, always same day (even out of hours) and always answer the phone and their wise advice has undoubtedly saved us a lot of money over the years. Centrally located office with plenty of customer parking which is also appreciated.
