Siils and Betteridge is truly appalling. I was charged with a criminal offence, and Katie Scott was to be my DEFENCE solicitor, employed to DEFEND me. No chance of that. I was asked to provide evidence, which included CCTV, to support my case. It was strong evidence, but Katie Scott, and the barrister employed by her, dismissed it all such that I was left with no defence at all. When I insisted that the evidence be used both of them abandoned me minutes before the Trial was due to start, giving the excuse that they were "professionally embarrassed". This, in plain English, means that they did not like being instructed by a paying client, and decided to walk off in a huff. They showed no professionalism whatsoever. Some while late, I posted a critical online review, but this was swiftly removed, probably because of "professional embarrassment". I hope this review will not be removed, but because Sills and Betteridge are easily "professionally embarrassed", it probably will. My advice is not to use Sills and Betteridge if you do not want to be abandoned at Court, or if you expect to be able to ask your solicitor to use evidence. It "professionally embarrasses" the poor dears.

I approach Sills and Betteridge in panic about my charge. They all have been professional but approachable and very very helpful. Katie was always honest and Chris my barrister used best of his knowledge to help me out. Highly recommend and very grateful for the company as well.

Not only as support through the actual hearing but as moral support too by sorting a separate room to help with my anxiety, getting special measures put into place and speaking on my behalf and got the result that was needed in order for me to be able to breathe until the crown court date! This firm of highly professional solicitors is outstanding, and I would like to mention the ones involved in my case. A special thanks to Dominic Lee and his amazing team who took my case on, it was a long traumatic time for me, however, Dominic has shown me nothing but compassion, and kindness, and his knowledge is just outstanding.
