S&B came recommended based on the fact that they keep the client informed regarding progress, which was important for me. My purchase should have been straightforward but a few complications extended the timeline, S&B were clearly more proactive that my seller's solicitor which was frustrating especially as my seller was as keen as I to complete. I thing S&B performed far better than others I have used and I'm sure had I used a competitor the process would have taken even longer. Very friendly and professional throughout.

S&B have been absolutely wonderful - helping me recently to both buy and sell properties .. Wendy and Sally, in particular, were so kind, patient, discreet and understanding .. and, of course, knowledgeable .. they kept me well informed throughout and replied to queries and emails very quickly .. Would not recommend. These were acting for my buyer, pushed him not to buy due to an unadopted road (after 5 months) they knew this information in the first month!!! There are over 40,000 unadopted roads in the UK and I had an indemnity policy that I was willing to transfer and pay the cost. Thanks, you have wasted 5 months of my time and thousands of pounds.

A bit of a late review as my mortgage was finalised in March 2025, but the service I have received from Sills & Betteridge Solicitors Lincoln was amazing! Our solicitor Ellinor Kilshaw was exceptional and if it wasn't for her going the extra mile we wouldn't be living in our dream home right now! She was quick, responsive and professional! Would recommend any day of the week!
