    Successful Challenge to Local Authority

    Solicitor Emma Tyrer assisted me to successfully challenge a decision by a local authority. After a thorough research of legal precedents she composed a convincing challenge which was quickly accepted by the local authority without the need for litigation.     Guarantor dispute mediation

    I was being pursued by a residential property landlord's agents for rent arrears for a property whose condition was deemed unfit for habitation even by the local council; the tenant I was guarantor to had even been allowed to break contract early because of the failure of the property agent and landlord to make the property habitable. Mr Kennedy Lugg was able to gather related timeline material to compose a coherent challenge to the agent's insurers, clearly pointing out breaches of contract on the landlord's and agent's parts, and the failure of the agent's lawyers and insurers to review my submitted evidence challenging their claim, as they should have, before pursuing me further. I was very impressed and reassured by the responsive and sensitive service provided and the outcome.
