Accessing the mediation service was straightforward and easy from the start. The initial enquiry process was smooth, and communication was clear throughout. Booking dates was slightly hectic at first, as my preferred slots were taken quite quickly, but the team responded promptly and kept me updated. They offered alternative dates that were as close as possible to my requested time, which I really appreciated. All documentation was sent out expediently and without confusion, making the preparation process simple and stress-free. The mediation appointment itself was conducted extremely professionally. Everything was handled calmly, respectfully, and with clear structure, which made what could have been a difficult process feel well managed. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the service provided. If I need mediation again, or any of the other services they offer, I wouldn’t hesitate to contact them in the future.
Highly recommended especially Grace O'Neill who was awesome. Answered all my questions, and kept me informed about my case. I hopefully won't need a solicitor again, but if I do I shall use Grace again
Sarah Rowe was completely incompetent when handling my matter, no appreciation for the stress these situations create and a complete failure to acknowledge and allow sufficient time to prepare for court and the deadlines. Avoid at all costs

Thousands spent and got nowhere with my case, did 1 hearing on my own after i stopped using them and got further than with these at all previous hearings combined. Hounds you for payments and refuses to continue work if you don't pay beforehand or on time despite me explaining my money situation and when my pay days are. Delegates the work and then adds extra hours onto "time spent at court" and god knows what else. Even charged me for a phone call making a complaint to to them about the services provided. So for those reasons i would not recommend

I genuinely cannot thank Claire enough. I found myself facing what was, without question, the most challenging and heartbreaking period of my life. I felt as though the odds were stacked against me, through circumstances I firmly believe were no fault of my own, but rather the result of someone else’s determination to cause hurt and maintain control. Throughout it all, my only aim was to protect my children, do what was right and come out the other side without causing the same pain and damage that had been inflicted upon me. Claire was absolutely incredible. She believed in me when I felt the world was against me. She supported me, fought my corner and, perhaps most importantly, never sugar-coated anything. She didn’t always tell me what I wanted to hear, but she told me what I needed to hear. Sometimes those truths were difficult to accept, but they were necessary. Claire was honest, realistic and straightforward throughout, even when the answers weren’t the ones I’d hoped for. That honesty, professionalism and unwavering support meant more to me than she will probably ever realise. Ultimately, my children and I achieved everything we needed, without resorting to the behaviour or tactics that had caused us so much hurt in the first place. We got there by doing things properly, and Claire was instrumental in making that happen. I sincerely hope I never find myself needing legal support through anything like this again. But if I do, I know exactly whose door I’ll be knocking on. And if you’re reading this because you’re facing what feels like an impossible situation, please don’t lose hope. I cannot recommend Claire highly enough. Thank you, Claire. Not just for the legal advice, but for helping me through the darkest chapter of my life and giving my children and me the chance to move forward. I’m sure Claire will work her magic for you too.

I would not be able to pick fault with a single thing about Sills & Betteridge even if I tried. They made the whole process incredibly easy. I was worried about solicitors due to stories from friends about the hold-ups and struggles but none of that is present here. Quick replies and great communication mean we have got the keys to our first house incredibly fast.

Very efficient
Do not use this firm for anything relating to child proceedings. I used this firm for legal action regarding custody of my son. Over 2 years it went on for. Being charged through the nose for shoddy half done work. They completely misinformed me of my rights and what I could have challenged in the courts. They rinsed me of £15,000 with absolutely nothing to show for it in the end. It wasn't until I took on a barrister in the end to which she notified me it was the poorest work she had seen in 30 years of being a barrister specialising in family courts. By this time the damage had been done. The forms and paperwork filled out were incorrect with the wrong names and dates of birth. The work they provided was nothing short of complete incompetence and shoddy. When you complain they don't want to know and refuse to acknowledge your complaint. 2 years on I'm still fighting through the legal ombudsman as told to by my barrister. There is a lot more I could write but what's the point. They've ruined my life and taken no accountability for it. They would turn up 40 minutes late to court and still charge you for it. Shocking. Incompetent. Shoddy unbothered solicitors. Avoid if you want any chance of winning a custody battle.

I would highly recommend Sills & Betteridge. I recently dealt with Team Amy while purchasing two properties at the same time and I honestly couldn’t have asked for better service. I had already instructed another firm for one of the purchases before I came across Sills & Betteridge, so I was dealing with both firms at the same time. The difference was very noticeable. The quote was very reasonable, but what really impressed me was how quick, efficient and helpful Team Amy were throughout the whole process. They always responded so quickly to any questions I had and kept everything moving, which made the whole experience much easier. A special mention to Uros and Eve as well, who were both brilliant. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional and really helpful. I’m genuinely very pleased with the service I received from Sills & Betteridge and would definitely recommend them. Jess Cooper once again sorts out a nightmare dispute and kept me calm and focused on the task in hand. Dealing with a very difficult co parent Jess remained professional and dealt with the issue at hand with her great experience making it another successful court appearance. Everytime Jess has represented me in court she has been able to make sure we have walked away with what is the right decision for my child and remained child focus the whole way through the 3 year that I have been working with her. I can not recommend Jess enough.
