S&B managed to make our house buying process infinitely worse
Avoid them unless you like to pay premium prices for virtually no service. We used S&B for conveyancing (buyers) and the entire experience was characterised by a lack of professionalism from all involved at S&B. In no particular order: Delayed or ignored communications, conflicting advice, chasing us for information they had never asked us to provide, and sent us emails not addressed to us. We even had to chase them 3 times over weeks to just get a quote for the next property after the first attempt fell through. When we escalated the matter to their senior legal partners they also didn't bother to respond. If this is the quality of their client visible work, you really have to wonder how much attention to detail goes in the legal work. Stay clear of this firm if you value your sanity.
