A highly professional and competent firm of solicitors. My Medical negligence claim was handled with compassion and sensitivity at all times. All aspects of the legal process were explained fully and communication was easy to understand and addressed in a timely fashion. Sharon Allison is very friendly and approachable and was able to navigate my expectations and emotions in what was a complex and emotional case. Michael Frape of Ashtons Legal provided excellent service in handling a professional negligence claim for me. The claim was very important to me, and Michael did a highly diligent and thorough job of putting together and pursuing the initial stages of the claim, with the appropriate level of attention to detail, always dealing with the case personally. Michael adapted his fees to reflect the nature and size of the case. Michael was then forced to relinquish the case on grounds of the economics, but he gave time in completing the final stage before the handover to my new solicitor and did everything he could to ensure that went smoothly. Eventually a settlement of the case was obtained and I will always be grateful for Ashtons Legal's part in this.

Absolutely awful service! Writng a review on behalf of a relative and colleague.The recent service and experience a colleague of mine has had has been absolutely awful.. the worse customer services ever! The solicitor keeps making mistakes, asking for forms and docs they have, which have already been completed weeks ago. When challenged, the solicitor makes excuses rather than taking ownership or responsibility for their own internal mistakes. The solicitor has behaved rudley on a few occasions, slow in replying to anything. A long process, a very painful experience, the solictor is consistently very unhelpful. AVOID this company, Absolutely AWFUL.

Absolutely terrible service. Ashton's were the bank appointed solicitor for a commercial mortgage I was setting up. The bank were slow but Ashton's were even slower and the mortgage ended up taking over a year to set up. With the fees I paid I would have expected at least some level of service. I will avoid having Ashton's involved with anything in the future.

My late Uncle died last year without a will but with property and money. Jonathan, Hannah Maskell and Claire Terrington have been brilliant helping me with everything. From applying for Probate to putting the property up for sale. They have been so professional and so patient answering any questions we had. I can't recommend them enough. They helped me with my late mother's estate when she had a will, but without a will a monumental task was made a lot easier. Thank you all very, very much.

Anne was instrumental in the sale of a French property owned by my sister. However there were still issues in that tax was due and the French Bank Account was still open. As my sister's husband was ill she was unable to travel in order to close the bank account. Anne Hale was approached and offered a very kind, caring approach to get everything dealt with and the balance transferred into the UK account.

We recently used Ashtons Legal for the purchase of our first home and couldn't be happier with the service we received. A special thank you to Kathryn Smith and Sienna Vincent, who were excellent throughout the entire process. They were responsive, efficient, professional and always willing to answer our questions, no matter how small. Communication was clear and timely, and they consistently kept pace with us whenever we needed information or decisions quickly. Buying a house can be stressful, and we'd heard plenty of horror stories from friends and family about conveyancing solicitors. Thankfully, our experience with Ashtons Legal was the complete opposite. Kathryn and Sienna helped keep everything on track, proactively dealt with issues as they arose, and gave us confidence throughout the transaction. It’s no exaggeration when I say that Ashtons Legal changed my life after I sustained a catastrophic traumatic brain injury aged 20. Ashtons was recommended to me by the PALS team at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, and I reached out to them in early 2022 and the case concluded in mid 2026 due to its complexity. Thanks to the absolutely tenacious eye for detail that Mick Upton used in my case against the individual who injured me in a hit-and-run, and the ice cold professionalism and legal acumen that Marcus Grant presented against the insurance company who were the defendants in the case, I am now protected for the foreseeable future and have access to cutting edge care and financial advice outsourced to excellent advisors who also have a great eye for all things economic. Throughout the four-year process I was kept in the loop every step of the way. No stone was left unturned and nothing was left to chance - Mick Upton led from the front to secure me a settlement which is absolutely life changing and Marcus Grant was there to be the face of negotiation, assist and to provide crucial representation when it mattered most. Throughout it all there was a team of ferociously dedicated and committed executives, managers and assistants who formed the backbone of the case and provided their expert aid when I needed questions answered or needed to provide my own input. I would like to thank one of them, Louise Reardon, for being so kind, helpful and understanding when I found it difficult to complete forms or communicate effectively with the team. Her compassion was second to none, matched only by her ability to assist and offer guidance. For them this was another day at the office. For me, it was simply life changing and I cannot express my gratitude adequately in this review. If you need a personal injury team that fights tooth and nail for the best outcome, look no further. 10/10.
