This was my first time using Ashtons legal, it was also my first time selling a property. It has been an experience i will not forget any time soon. Claire and the team have been great throughout, when my buyers and sellers have pulled out or had other complex situations going on i could always rely on Claire to get me an update when i began to think things were all falling apart again... Communication was swift and clear, if i was stuck with anything we sorted it and Claire always took my call. I'm sure the process would have been far more challenging for me had i not have had Ashtons and Claire to help me through it.

I recently purhcased a share of freehold flat in London and the process was complicated both by ambiguities in the governance arrangements of the freehold and last minute problems with the lender. In both cases Andrew from Ashtons did an excellent job in addressing these issues in a quick and effective manner whilst keeping me informed of developments. His calm, professional, and friendly approach combined with his diligence in reviewing the legal arrangements for the purchase made what could have been an incredibly stressful process relatively straightforwards. I would happily recommend Ashton's to anyone on the back of this experience.

We took advice to go to Ashtons to have our Wills written because we each wanted our share of our House to be placed in Trust for our grandchildren, but with a Life Interest in the house for the survivor. This provided some safeguard for each of our halves of the house against future unforeseen events (to pass to our children) while at the same time guaranteeing availability of the whole house (or any replacement) as a rent-free domicile for our survivor. I trusted Ashtons to have the Legal Knowledge to ensure this was done and to provide all relevant legal advice (including inheritance advice) and details of options.
