Worked with Jessica from the Scunthorpe branch over a period of 18-20 months on several property purchases (two of which fell through for various reasons). We got the third property over the line today and I am thrilled. The experience working with Jessica has been great: professional, tolerant my sometimes excessive questioning, excellent communication, while thoroughly reviewing of all documentation while explaining risks to me so I was aware of issues as they arose, meaning the right decisions were made. It has been tricky to land the right property (outside of both our control) it became comforting to be represented by the same person with continuity throughout. Jessica even went out her way to ensure some of my searches were discounted by the search provider when one of my purchase attempts fell apart which was unexpected and a nice surprise. I will definitely use Sills & Betteridge again in the future if I need further representation. Thanks so much Jessica!

I was a little apprehensive when appointing a new solicitor for the purchase of our new home, but had no reason to worry. Joanne and her assistant Angela were absolutely brilliant from the moment go. They knew we wanted a quick completion and did everything in their power to do this for us without compromising on their duty to us. I am now completing a property purchase through which S&B have been acting as my conveyancing solicitors. As a first time buyer, I was very apprehensive about the process and all that it entails but Jess Barnes and her team have been an incredible support during this very trying time! I cannot recommend Conveyancing Team Kimberley Rose highly enough. I was dealing with the sale of my late mum’s house while living overseas, which added an extra layer of stress and anxiety to an already difficult process. From start to finish, the team were professional, patient, responsive and genuinely caring. One thing that meant a great deal to me was that whenever I called, I was always put through to someone who could help. This was always the same person in my case, so it was incredibly comforting to know that there was someone available to listen, explain what was happening and help calm me down when I inevitably had one of my many panic calls! A special thank you to Lucy Dixon for your incredible patience, particularly when various hurdles arose — including a few that I may have unnecessarily created myself! You made a stressful process feel so much more manageable. I’m genuinely sorry that this is where we part ways, because you have been such a pleasure to work with. Superb conveyancing solicitors. As an estate agent for over 15 years I’ve encountered many firms. Having used Sills personally to complete a lease extension for an apartment, sell two properties and buy another they have been nothing but exemplary in their levels of service, communication and efficiency. Someone was always available to discuss my needs, offer great advice and keep me updated throughout every transaction. Team Amy and Team Kim were equally excellent with special mentions not only to the team leaders but Lucy, Beth and Uros, who were constantly on the case, knowledgeable and approachable at every point.
