Hi, I would not recommend to friends or family. We have a straightforward purchase with no onward chain. We are also purchasing chain free, so any reasonable person would expect quick results. Wrong ! Their search provider apparently takes 2 months to return searches ! How is that acceptable ? I have purchased before and have also looked at recent timescales for other conveyancers. No one mentions searches taking this long. Apart from that I find Poole Alcock responsive when I chase them. But don’t expect any proactive contact from them !

While some aspects of a transaction are outside of our direct control, including the timescales involved in obtaining searches from third-party providers, we appreciate that delays can still be disappointing. Kate and all her team were helpful, clear and accommodating to the different needs of the family. The charges were fair and communication was always timely. They processed the purchase as quickly as possible, but still did a thorough job. I would have no qualms in recommending them.

Chanel is very good, she answers the phone rather than using the 'can you send an email reception block' works fast, provides updates is very knowledgeable and communicates in clear plain English.
